On December 4, 2000, according to the police, Falun Dafa practitioners placed a high volume speaker and played a Falun Dafa recording in to Masanjia labor re-education camp.
At about 8pm on December 3, the voice of the Falun Dafa Radio Station resounded through the quiescent sky above the evil Masanjia labor re-education camp. The guards and inmates all listened to it. The guards and criminals were listening and no one dared to move around. The recording was played several times in an auto-reverse player.
[Yantai City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Wang Lixuan died in custody by falling out of a building
Wang Lixuan, female, resided in the developing district in Yantai City, Shandong province. Recently she carried her baby and went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. She was arrested and detained illegally by the officials from their local government liaison-office in Beijing. She fell from the building and was found dead while in detention. The cause of her death is to be determined.

Recently there have been many eye-catching, small red or yellow banners revealing the truth about Falun Dafa, posted in street gardens and roadside parks. These banners were hung on the tree branches over several meters high and attracted many people who were passing by or were doing morning exercises. Those who were waiting for the buses, walking, jogging along the street or exercising spotted the banners and stopped to read them. Some even read out loudly: "Falun Dafa is righteous law", "Stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners", "Dafa rectifies heaven and earth", "Suffocating the evil", "Restore the innocence of Falun Dafa", "It is not a crime to practice Falun Gong", "Release all Falun Dafa practitioners", etc. Some of the people who were watching said, "That's right. It's not a crime to practice Falun Gong!" Some other people said, "I know of Falun Gong. Many elderly people got rid of their illnesses after practicing. The government always talks nonsense and tells lies..."

Recently, Weifang city government sent people to Masanjia labor re-education camp, a dark den of evil forces, to learn "experiences" of how to persecute Dafa practitioners.
Tricks they've used
Practitioners were enticed to watch the videotapes made by Masanjia labor re-education camp. The government officials brought some fake copies of Zhuan Falun and negative materials to confuse the practitioners.
Used the people who have been "reformed"
They used several petty buffoons including Sun Chengtao, Shi Wenxia, Zhang Haibing, Zhang Junkai and Xu Hong to take turns to talk with practitioners and spread vicious rumors.
Some official departments helped the evil forces to maltreat practitioners
The officials from the appealing office, the politics and law office, the neighborhood affairs offices and the guards from practitioners' work units tried to transform the practitioners by separating them and not allowing them to contact each other.
Methods they used
To weaken the practitioners' firm belief in Dafa, they pretend to be nice to the practitioners and then saturate the practitioners with bad thoughts. They also threatened or even used drugs on practitioners.
Their purposes
On the surface they also say Dafa is good and treat practitioners "nicely". However, their actual intentions are very vicious. Their purpose is to entice the practitioners to write repentance letters, and other materials to "expose" other practitioners' information. If the practitioners do not comply or fall into their traps, they will be sent to re-education camps or detained indefinitely.
Their acts have verified what our Master said in "Suffocate the Evil": "As for the people who have been "reformed", it was arranged before that they would damage the Fa by doing this. No matter how well they acted when arrested or beaten, all of that was setting the stage for their leaping out today to damage the Fa and confuse students. I hope that students don't listen to or believe their vicious lies."
"Listen without hearing it ?the heart will not be disturbed" (Hong Yin). Let us encourage each other with our Master's teaching: "The Fa can reveal all attachments, the Fa can eradicate all evils, the Fa can expose and dispel all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." ("Deter Interference")
[Weifang, Shandong Province] Weifang practitioner Yue Xia was arrested
On November 28, Yue Xia, an employee of the Weifang City No. 2 Pharmaceutical Factory was forcibly taken away, this was initiated by her work unit, the street administration office and the police. On the afternoon of November 28, Lao Wan from the Pharmaceutical Factory Committee, led seven to eight people, including the head of factory security department He Fucun and the director of the factory Li Guilin, to Yue Xia's home. They carried her out, stuffed her into the police car and handcuffed her, then took her away by force.
Now it is known that Yue Xia was taken away by the police of Fangzi District, and locked up in the Hanting Detention Center. Yue Xia has been a widow since her early years, and lives with her two sons. It's hard for her to make a living to provide for them.
Situations of Weifang Dafa practitioners in labor camps:
Xin Jiyan, female, over 30 years old, went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun
Gong many times and was arrested on October 1, 2000. She was sentenced to three years in labor camp.
Hu Xiuhua, female, over 30 years old, was an employee of Weifang City Highway Administration Bureau. She was detained for 30 days due to distributing truth materials, then was sentenced to three years in labor camp.
Wang Yixin of Guojia Village, Gouxi Town, Fangzi District, Weifang City died from persecution. Later, his son and daughter-in-law managed to barely escape the persecution themselves and currently are homeless and wandering about. The town government is trying to catch them.
[Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province] Message from Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province
Five practitioners from Pingxiang went to Beijing in May, and were arrested on the train. They have been locked up indefinitely. They have been very determined and unyielding. At the beginning of October, the local practitioners began to make use of various clever ways to distribute the truth material around Pingxiang and Hunan Province etc.
Two practitioners were arrested after going to Beijing, and are currently in detention. One practitioner is a high school teacher. He promoted Dafa to the students in the school and was recently arrested.
[Gansu Province] Gansu practitioners were arrested because of distributing truth materials
Han Xu, male, around 27 years old, an employee of the import and export division of the Lanzhou Carpet Factory. He was detained for 15 days because of going to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong in January, 2000. At the beginning of October he was detained again due to posting truth material. He has been imprisoned in Lanzhou Dashaping Detention Center as of today. He is commonly acknowledged as a kindhearted good person by his colleagues and friends.
Wang Shijun, male, about 40 years old, was an assistant of Jingning County Dafa Assistance Center in Gansu Province. He is a teacher at Bali Town Yanmiao Elementary School. After July 22, 1999 he was forced to denounce Falun Gong on the county television program and was detained for almost a month. In March 2000, during the period when the two conferences were held (the annual meeting of National People's Congress and that of People's Political Consultative Conference), he went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong. People from the county and town government and the local educational bureau flew to Beijing to take him back. He had to pay for their all their expenses over 11,000 Yuan. He had not been paid a salary for 11 months, and had been illegally detained for 100 days. His freedom was restricted during the summer break and he had to do labor for the town government. Because Dafa truth material appeared in Jingning County, he was arrested a week ago. His current situation is not clear.
Jin Jiming, a practitioner of Yuzhong County in Lanzhou City, was sentenced to labor re-education last month. His situation is not clear.
Another two practitioners were arrested when distributing truth material in Chengguan District, Lanzhou City. They were detained at Lanzhou Dashaping Detention Center.
[Zibo, Shandong Province] Partial list of practitioners in Yiyuan County sentenced to prison terms and labor re-education
Yang Zhongjiang, 38 years old, cadre of a state-owned enterprise, went to Beijing to appeal on October 6, 1999. He was arrested and sent back on October 26. He was sentenced to labor re-education on January 20, 2000. He is currently imprisoned at Jinan Detention Center.
Chen Lili, 21 years old, a training student in college. Because she went to Beijing to appeal on July 20, 1999, she was expelled from school and was sentenced to labor re-education on January 20, 2000. She is now imprisoned at Jinan Detention Center.
Bai Zhengguo, 40 years old, is a boss of a private company. He went to Beijing to appeal in October 1999, and was sentenced to prison terms in May 2000. He is now in Jinan Prison.
