(Minghui.org) Eight residents of Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, are scheduled to appear in the Anzhou District Court on October 29, 2019, for refusing to give up practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline that has been persecuted by the Chinese communist regime since 1999.

Mr. Yang Xuncheng, Mr. Guo Yuanjun, Ms. Huang Bohui, Ms. Yin Guangsu, Ms. Cai Yifeng, Ms. Li Yongfang, Ms. Wan Mengrong, and Ms. Lu Shangrong were arrested on the evening of May 28, 2019.
The police ransacked their homes the following day and put them in criminal detention two days later.
The two male practitioners were detained in Huagai Detention Center, and the six female practitioners were held in the Mianyang City No.3 Detention Center.
The Anzhou District Procuratorate approved their arrests on June 28, 2019.
