Additional Persecution News from China – November 30, 2016 (8 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 5 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 were illegally arrested.

1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yan Chongxi Detained

7. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

1. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Yan Chongxi Detained

Mr. Yan Chongxi from Cangtai Village, Wanyu Town, Huarong County, was sick, could not eat and became very thin. Yet he was recently arrested and taken to the Yunxi District Detention Center by officers from the Huarong County Domestic Security Division, and Li Siqing, political head of the Wanyu Town Police Station.

Mr. Yan was given only salt water rice every day in the detention center, which caused him to have gastric bleeding.

Mr. Yan was brought back home on November 21. He suffers stomach pain and is weak.

2. [Beijing] Mr. Su Wei Faces Trial

Ms. Su Wei was to be tried on December 5, 2016 at the Fengtai District Court.

3. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Ms. An Yuhua Detained

Ms. An Yuhua was arrested on November 6, 2016. She was taken to the Benxi City Detention Center.

4. [Pingdingshan City, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

Several Ruzhou City practitioners were arrested in November 2016, including Ms. He Shuqing and Ms. Guo Liuzhi. Ms. Guo Liuzhi was arrested at home by officers from the Lingtou Township Police Station on the evening of November 15, 2016. She was taken to the Dongguan Police Station. She was released due to her high blood pressure. Ms. He Shuqing's whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Wenhui Detained

Mr. Liu Wenhui was arrested by officers from the Chaoyang County Police Department on November 13, 2016, for posting Falun Gong materials in a residential community. Mr. Liu is held in a detention center.

6. [Tongren City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Huang Fadi and Ms. Liu Yumei Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Huang Fadi from the Wanshan District was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on November 22, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime, who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. The officers took blood samples from her, photographed, and fingerprinted her. The officers tried to force her to give up her belief in Falun Gong.

Ms. Liu Yumei was arrested and taken to the brainwashing center on November 23, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin.

7. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

The Baqiao District Court scheduled a trial for Ms. Zhang Xianglian on November 25, 2016. When several practitioners went near the court to support Ms. Zhang, they were arrested by officers from the Baqiao District Police Station. Among those arrested were: Ms. Guo Aixiang, Mr. Wang Fulin, Ms. Zhou Jingli, and Ms. Yan Anfang.

8. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] Several Practitioners Detained

Mr. Zheng Xianjin, Ms. Wang Haomei, Ms. Lu Guiying, Ms. Ding Ruifang, Ms. Zhu Meilian, and Ms. Liu Xiaoming were arrested in June 2016. Ms. Zhu Meilian was released the day of arrest. The other five practitioners were detained.

In addition, Ms. Liu Fengxian and Ms. Zhi Meiying were arrested for suing Jiang Zemin. Ms. Liu was released that day due to her old age. Ms. Zhi remains in custody.
