(Minghui.org) I met Auntie in the spring of 2008. She was in her 60s and came from the same hometown as I. She moved into our neighborhood to take care of her husband who had come on business.
She was riding a bicycle and appeared to be in low spirits. I asked, “Auntie, where are you going?” She dismounted and said listlessly, “To buy cloth to make a comforter.”
“Are you not well?”
She replied, “It’s my old ailment acting up. I'm just weak all over.”
I said, “If you can keep remembering that Falun Dafa is good, and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good, you will recover.”
“What? I can hardly hear you.”
I spoke up and repeated, “Please remember that Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good. You will get your energy back.”
She recited the verses to herself and then asked, “What you said...will it really happen?”
“Yes, it will. As long as you believe 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' you will be healthy. If you live by Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and be a good person, you will not be ill.”
She replied, “Yes, I believe it. I will recite, 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.'”
When I asked her if she felt any better, she exclaimed, “Yes, I am much better! I have energy now! I will remember to repeat the verses.” During those few minutes, her complexion, disposition, and energy level all improved significantly. I also noticed that she had begun to speak louder.
I saw her husband the next day. He asked me,“What did you tell my wife yesterday? Her decades-old illness has been cured! I want to know, too. Please tell me.”
I told him, “Falun Dafa teaches people to follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and become good people. When the Communist Party saw that there were more practitioners than Party members, they were frightened.
“Fearing they would lose power, they cooked up all kinds of lies to defame Falun Gong, such as the staged Tiananmen Square self-immolation. They tried to confuse right and wrong and made many do bad things to good people. Wouldn’t you say that they’ve turned people bad?”
He renounced his membership in the Young Pioneers, a Chinese communist organization for elementary school age children, and said, “I believe that Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! Good will be rewarded.”
