(Minghui.org) We've recently had a few cultivation experience-sharing meetings in the villages near ours, where we discussed our shortcomings in clarifying the truth and saving sentient beings.
Practitioners in our area are all elderly farmers who can barely read or write and are not good at talking. After the persecution began in July 1999, many of them stopped cultivating due to fear and pressure. However, they have all resumed cultivation after compassionate Master gave them some hints.
Since the evil factors made the persecution very severe in our area, practitioners who came back to cultivation all had very strong fear. They only studied Zhuan Falun and did the exercises secretly at home, but did not get together to study the Fa until recently. Furthermore, although they studied Master's recent lectures by themselves, they only read Zhuan Falun in group Fa study.
Since they could not read well, these elderly practitioners had a hard time understanding what Master spoke about in recent lectures even on the surface, and it was more difficult for them to understand the deeper meaning of Master's words. Thus, they stopped reading these lectures after one or two times.
Although some knew that Master had asked practitioners to clarify the truth and save sentient beings, they were very afraid and did things perfunctorily due to not studying the Fa well. Only a few practitioners were able to let go of their fear and talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution face to face.
By sharing with each other, we realized that we must fulfill our vows by spreading the truth about Dafa and the persecution. It is our responsibility as Dafa disciples to help Master rectify the Fa and save sentient beings, and this is required by Master.
Every second of time has been extended to save more people, and this has been paid for through Master's sacrifice. We should take the initiative to participate in different projects to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. Practitioners all agreed that we should not just wait until the Fa-rectification ends; however, they were worried that they could not clarify the truth well face to face.
Recently, a practitioner from another area also shared with us that she felt very concerned and helpless because she was unable to clarify the truth to people face to face. She also felt physically uncomfortable but could not find the reason.
We studied Master's “20th Anniversary Fa Teaching,” in which Master said:
“But if you were to just send righteous thoughts, and not do anything, how could that be called cultivation? It’s similar to how some people treat reading the book. They just read, and don’t do the things that Dafa disciples are supposed to do. In that case, do you count as a Dafa disciple? That’s not Dafa cultivation. If everything could be taken care of by sending righteous thoughts, you wouldn’t even need to do it—I could just organize a group of Dafa disciples in New York to send righteous thoughts and we’d be all set, and everything would be taken care of. You have to get personally involved, cultivate, and go and put things into action. Working hard is part of your cultivation. You need to think of ways to find the people that you are meant to save. All of these are things that Dafa disciples should do. Make efforts to cooperate well together. If you discover that someone hasn’t done something well, or if during your discussion at meetings certain things aren’t handled well or your idea isn’t adopted, yet you feel that it really is how things should be approached, then, if you can manage to quietly see to it that that thing goes well even though your idea wasn’t adopted, that is being a Dafa disciple.”
From reading Master's article, we realized that due to the challenging conditions, we only studied the Fa and did the exercises at home, instead of finding ways to clarify the facts about Dafa and the persecution to more people. We were only getting things from Dafa, but not assimilating to Dafa and saving sentient beings according to Master's requirements. We had started to deviate from Dafa. How dangerous!
I said to local practitioners, “If you cannot talk well, you can play audio clips on your cell phones to let people learn the facts.” They liked the suggestion, but didn't know who could teach them how to do that. We then found a practitioner who knew how to safely play audio clips on cell phones.
We diligently learned the techniques. When we left, the sickness karma manifesting on one practitioner's body disappeared, and she now looked like a different person. We sincerely thanked Master for everything He has given to us.
When we shared the idea at another meeting, seven or eight other practitioners wanted to buy cell phones for clarifying the truth. Master saw that we were eager to save people and arranged for a practitioner to buy us some cell phones that were 50 yuan cheaper than usual. My spouse then taught the other practitioners how to use cell phones.
Coordinating, buying cell phones and training practitioners were done in an orderly fashion. Every practitioner used his or her skills to quietly help others.
When practitioners played the audio clips and heard the response, they were very excited. Those who used to think that they were not good at talking face to face improved a lot after using cell phones to clarify the truth. They now felt more confident and very happy to have joined this team effort to save sentient beings. Thus, they started to take the initiative to clarify the facts more.
I then shared this idea with different groups near our village, and the result turned out to be wonderful. Within a few days, several more practitioners decided to buy cell phones. The price was 30 yuan lower this time. We could get a cell phone that could play audio clips for only 200 yuan. That is very affordable for country people, who usually have a very limited income.
Practitioners in a nearby city also bought us prepaid cards wholesale. A 30-yuan card could be used for a long time. Using cell phones to spread the truth about Dafa has solved many practical problems for practitioners who have a limited education level and are not good at clarifying the facts in person.
Moreover, whenever we played the audio clips, there were people with predestined relationships who learned the facts about Dafa and the persecution. This method also helped spread the truth to those who lived farther away and worked in places like the courts, police stations, prisons, detention centers, brainwashing centers, judiciary departments, and the wicked party's other agencies.
As long as we do things sincerely, those who have predestined relationships will listen to the facts and make a righteous choice for their future. Using cell phones to spread the truth is impacted by our attitude toward saving sentient beings, and whether we can really let go of self.
Although using cell phones for truth clarification has a good effect in saving sentient beings, we cannot just rely on this one method alone. The best way to save people is to talk to them face to face. As long as we have a righteous attitude and assimilate to Dafa, Dafa will give us wisdom, as well as bravery and compassion that are necessary when we clarify the facts to people.
We hope that more practitioners can help those who have not yet come out to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. Those practitioners who still have not come out are eagerly waiting for us to help them.
Master has arranged everything for us, including the environment and methods to save sentient beings, and Master has been waiting for us to fulfill our responsibilities. As long as we do it, we will witness the wonders of Dafa and see that everything has been arranged beforehand.
The above is my recent experience of helping practitioners use cell phones to clarify the truth to save people. I would like to sincerely thank Master for all He has done to save us and sentient beings. As a Dafa disciple, I will do well what Master has asked us to do and work hard to save more people. Fellow practitioners and I will do our best to meet the standard of Dafa disciples in the Fa-rectification period.
