Ms. Wan Taojing was arrested on May 2, 2013. She is currently detained at the Shaoxing City Brainwashing Center in Zhejiang Province.
2. [Luoding City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Shen Xuemei Harassed
The police and Resident Committee members went to Ms. Shen Xuemei's house twice to harass her on May 13, 2013. Ms. Shen's husband, Mr. Chen Jianguo, is currently incarcerated at Sihui Prison for practicing Falun Gong.

3. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Deng Fangchen and Mr. Lin Jianping Facing Trial
Panyu District Court has scheduled to try Ms. Deng Fangchen and Mr. Lin Jianping on May 17, 2013.
4. [Huanggang, Hubei Province] Ms. Dai Meixia Appeals Illegal Sentence
Ms. Dai Meixia was sentenced to five years in prison. She has appealed to the Huanggang Intermediate Court.

5. [Huang Shishi, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Yunxia Died As a Result of the Persecution
Ms. Yang Yunxia was arrested by police on July 27, 2012. She was secretly detained in the basement of a guest house in Huangshi City and then transferred to the Fenglieshan Detention Center five days later.
Ms. Yang was tortured in custody. As a result, she suffered from coughing, weakness in legs and spasms after being released on August 30, 2013. Ms. Yang passed away in the early morning of December 29, 2012, at the age of 65.
6. [Dandong, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Chunlong on the Brink of Death
Mr. Han Chunlong was brutally force-fed at the Dandong City Detention Center and is now on the brink of death. Zhenxing District Court intended to place Mr. Han and Mr. Chen Xinye on trial on May 14, 2013. However, Judge Tao Zhanhua canceled the hearing after learning that Mr. Han could not attend.

Ms. Yang Yaping was recently arrested by 610 Office agents.
8. [Langfang, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Zhiping Sent to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Zhiping from Pijiaying Village in Nanmeng Town was arrested by police on the morning of May 9, 2013, while speaking to people about the persecution in Nanmeng market. Later, around 10 agents went to her house and ransacked it, taking away Falun Gong books, Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, a photocopier and other personal belongings. Ms. Wang was sent to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center the same day.
9. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] A Dozen Practitioners Arrested
At least a dozen practitioners were arrested, including Ms. Xue Dong, Ms. Yi Xiuzhi, Ms. Qi Xiuying, Ms. Xiao Zhao, Ms. Xiao Yu, Ms. Cao , Ms. Huan Jingyun, Ms. Guo Shuyun, Ms. Xie Yanping, Ms. Liu Chaoqun and others.
