Taiwan: "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibition Held in Chiayi County (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 11, an opening ceremony for the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" International Art Exhibit was held at the Meiling Art Museum in Putzu City, Chiayi Country. County Commissioner Chen Mingwen, legislators Lin Kuoching and Tsai Chifang, Chiayi County Council Speaker Yu Chengta, Putzu City Mayor Huang Lita, Chiayi Arts Association director Huang Sashu and many county council members sent congratulatory flower buckets to the exhibit. According to the organizer, having toured more than 30 countries, the exhibit will be held in Putzu from April 11 to April 29.

Ms. Gao Xiuqin Dies after Being Tortured in Jinan City First Women's Prison (Shandong Province)

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Gao Xiuqin lived in the Zichuan District of Zibo City, Shandong Province. She died at 4:00 p.m. on April 1, 2007. She had been detained in the Fourth Ward of Jinan City First Women's Prison since October 2002. Her mother-in-law was very worried, and died on December 5, 2002, shortly after hearing that Ms. Gao had been arrested. Ms. Gao had late-stage breast cancer when she was released in February 2006.
