A Man Thinks, "Dafa Is Good," and His Son Recovers from a Terrible Accident
Recently I met an old classmate of mine, Mr. Liang. He told me about a miracle that happened to his son, thanks to Falun Dafa. In early spring 2004, Mr. Liang's son, Changshen (a pseudonym), worked as a shipping guard on a long distance cargo truck for a company in Southern Liaoning Province. One morning, in light snow, the driver asked Changshen to put chains on the tires. As he was laying under the truck mounting the chains, Changshen suddenly noticed the truck start to move. It was too late to crawl out, so he yelled for them to stop. He stretched his head out from under the truck, protected his chest from the wheels with his arms, and thrust himself forward with his feet. Finally seeing what was happening, the other truck drivers and workers quickly waved the driver to stop.
After being knocked around and partially crushed under the wheels of the truck, Changshen was unconscious and bloody. His mouth was bleeding, his coat was ripped, and a big piece of flesh had been torn from his arm. All he could do was breathe. On the way to the hospital, he threw up blood whenever the car vibrated even slightly.
At the hospital, after examining his CT results, the doctor told Chengshen's family that his right rib cage had been crushed, that he was seriously injured both internally and externally, and that it was hopeless trying to save him. But giving in to adamant requests from Chengshen's family and company, the doctor began emergency surgery to try to save him. The doctor asked Mr. Liang to sign the "Notification of Critical Illness," and told the family to be prepared for the worst.
Mr. Liang was grief-stricken and in despair. He thought, "If Changshen dies, what are we going to do?" Then he suddenly remembered that a Falun Gong practitioner had told him, "Say 'Falun Dafa is good' and sincerely ask Teacher for help when facing big troubles, and things will surely improve." So Mr. Liang kept repeating in his heart, "Teacher of Falun Dafa, please save my son. Our whole family knows that Falun Dafa is good. What was said on TV were all lies."
Miraculously, Chengshen survived the night. Afterwards he improved day by day. On the eighth day, another miracle occurred: Chengshen regained consciousness. The caretaker that the company had provided for him jumped up and down with joy and yelled, "He woke up! Chengshen woke up!" She ran to the doctor's office. Everyone gathered in his room. Mr. Liang cried with happiness, feeling that he could not thank Teacher enough. The doctor also said that it was truly a miracle and that they had never witnessed such a thing before.
A few days later Changshen was able to walk in his room. He was discharged from the hospital in three months.
Mr. Liang told me later that his whole family had quit the CCP and its associated organizations. He wants to tell all his fellow countrymen via this website: "By all means, please do not believe in the CCP. Quit it as soon as possible. Always remember that 'Falun Dafa is good.' Our whole family wants to thank Teacher and Dafa for their saving our son's life."
Doctor's "Death Sentence" for a Lung Cancer Patient Fails to Materialize
Ms. Yu, 78 years old and retired from the Yijiang Company in Jiujiang City, was found to have lung center in March. After staying in the hospital for over a month and spending over ten thousand yuan, not only was she was not getting better, she was getting worse. The doctor told her son, "Your mother has about three months to live. There is not much more that the hospital can do. Let her eat whatever she wants. Take good care of her after she gets home."
In late May, a relative who practiced Falun Gong visited her, gave her a talisman (1), and told her to read the inscription: 'Falun Dafa is good. "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" is good.' Ms. Yu soon memorized the two sentences. She recalled, "When I came home from the hospital, I felt chest pain, pressure, difficulty breathing, dullness, and insomnia. I had no appetite and could only drink some soup. I could not fall asleep, but sitting on the sofa all day made me tired, too. I was truly miserable. But after reciting 'Falun Dafa is good,' and '"Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" is good' for an hour, I ate a small bowl of noodles and felt much more energetic." A week later, she was able to go out in public. Two weeks later, she discharged the caretaker that her son had hired for her. It has been seven months since she was discharged from the hospital. The doctor's "death sentence" for her failed to materialize. The neighbors all know that she recovered from her lung cancer by reciting "Falun Dafa is good."
Dafa Rectified a Stubborn Thief
My cousin was a thief. He'd stolen so many times that family members and relatives thought it was useless to try to talk to him about it. He was sentenced to forced labor many times, but within two months of his release, he would end up back in jail again.
In April he came to my house soon after he was released from another stint in jail. I told him about the atrocities the CCP has committed since it grabbed power and about the importance of quitting the CCP. He indicated that he believed that Dafa is good and that "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance" is good. He declared that he quit the Young Pioneers, and said that he would no longer steal and wanted to be a good person from then on.
Since then, my cousin has indeed turned into a good person. He found a regular job to support himself and has completely left his thieving career behind. His mother will tell anyone she meets, "Falun Dafa is just so great. It enabled my son to become righteous. I truly believe that Dafa is wonderful."
My cousin's whole family thanked Dafa from the bottom of their hearts. They have all quit the CCP and its associated organizations. They recite "Falun Dafa is good" everyday and tell their relatives and friends to do the same.

(1) Talisman - In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
