The Dean of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto Highly Recommends NTDTV's Chinese Vocal Music Competition (Photo)

ethnomusicologist, music professor and scholar, who was the former
Chair of the Department of Music at New York University, and is the
current Dean of the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto.
After learning that New Tang Dynasty TV would host the first
International Chinese Vocal Music Competition from October 15 to
17, 2007, Mr. Averill said that he was excited to encourage his
Chinese and non-Chinese students in the Department of Music at the
University of Toronto to participate in the NTDTV Chinese Vocal
Music Competition.
Australia: Prime Minister Howard Pays Attention to the Persecution of Falun Gong
(Clearwisdom.net) On September 17, Australia's Prime
Minister Howard asked his Senior Advisor (International), Andrew
Shearer, to reply Ms. Zhang Cuiying on his behalf. In the letter,
Mr. Shearer pointed out: "The government has expressed concerns
that China's ban on Falun Gong and treatment of Falun Gong
practitioners breaches fundamental human rights."
