[Minghui Net] December 17th was a special day for Penrith City. At 10 am, practitioners in the Sydney area gathered on the lawn in front of the Penrith City Mall to celebrate Falun Dafa Day in Penrith City.
Practitioners hung Dafa banners and colorful balloons printed with "Falun Dafa" over the lawn, and they also placed a huge model of the book Zhuan Falun as well as beautiful lotus flowers on the lawn, making the entire meeting solemn and peaceful. The Mayor, Mr. Bradbry, gave a speech. He first praised practitioners for their contribution towards his citizens' physical and mental health, and then he said that he was very happy to see practitioners offering free instruction and spreading Falun Dafa at all kinds of cultural events held in various communities. He certainly advocates that this activity can help improve people's physical and mental health. Later Mr. Bradbry cut the ribbon for the "Falun Dafa Day" ceremony. Three practitioners shared their experiences with attendees afterwards, introducing the enormous benefit they got from practicing Falun Dafa. The celebration ended after practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises.
Mr. Bradbry later wrote a letter to local practitioners to show his support for Falun Dafa Day.
