The 2000 Nobel Prize ceremony was held simultaneously in Stockholm, Sweden and Oslo, Norway. This grand gathering is held internationally, once a year. It is a great opportunity to spread Falun Dafa and reveal the truth to the prizewinners, guests, and ambassadors of different countries, media and public.
From Dec. 8th to 10th, Swedish practitioners were separated into two teams to spread Dafa. One team attended the Noble Peace Prize ceremony in Oslo, Norway by bus or car, while another team attended the Noble Literature Prize and other Nobel Prize categories in Stockholm, Sweden by train and car.
Mr. Xinjian Gao, Nobel Literature Prize Winner, Expressed His Strong Opposition about the Persecution Against Falun Gong
In the morning of Dec. 9th, Mr. Xinjian Gao, 2000 Noble Literature Prize winner, was invited to attend a literature forum held in Foguang Temple in the Swedish capital. A big crowd showed up and all seats were taken. Most of the attendees were Chinese scholars and students, including staff members of the Chinese consulate in Sweden. A Falun Gong practitioner first asked Mr. Gao a question, "Mr. Gao, could you please address your opinion about Jiang Zemin's brutal persecution against Falun Gong?" Mr. Gao answered very firmly, "I'm absolutely against it!" He was very happy to accept Falun Gong materials and the CDROM given by practitioners.
