We were shocked when we heard about the brutal persecution of practitioners at Tiananmen Square in Beijing on October 1^st. Jiang Zemin replaced the "Characteristics of China" with his own characteristics of evil on the sly. After having shamelessly claimed that the human rights is now at its best period in China, in the eyes of the world and at the center of China, he openly employed the police and the army to engage in a large-scale brutal beating and arresting of peaceful and innocent Falun Dafa practitioners who didn't even fight back when they were ill-treated. China's dignity was desecrated by Jiang's new crime. We, Falun Dafa practitioners overseas, want to express our deepest concerns to the escalation and development of the situation. Acting on justice, conscience and the good nature of mankind, we hereby make an urgent call on all kindhearted people, organizations, governments in China and around the world to extend their help with justice, and quickly stop Jiang Zemin's evil doings in Mainland China.

This development and escalation of Jiang Zemin's intense suppression of Falun Gong has further revealed his viciousness and ferocious nature over the past year. His intention to physically eradicate Falun Gong practitioners in China is to suppress and destroy the people's will and national interest. His intention to exterminate "Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance)" from the world is to obstruct the development of the new morality and the new history of humankind. In China, Jiang Zemin carried out evil based on his own will. At the same time, he stubbornly refused to admit his mistake to the international community and played an obstinate role against history. In the history of Chinese civilization, another bloody debt was recorded under his name. In the history of the world, his notorious name is written in humankind's book of shame. He has left a miserable mark in his evil life that he will never be free from his own misery.

Jiang Zemin is nothing more than a historical farce. The reason that he was selected by the evil force of the universe to be its representative in this human world is because his vicious character conforms to the evil force, and he was willing to be associated with evil and to represent it. Therefore, his sad fate has determined his miserable ending. Jiang Zemin is an example of a person who does not understand that he should lose his evil nature and behave like a human being when the gods give him a chance. The lesson learned by people in the world from Jiang Zemin is that he is arrogant and conceited in carrying out evil and highly overestimates his power. What he will get in return can only bring disgrace and ruin upon him, and cause him to suffer forever for what he has done.

Jiang Zemin also acts like a mirror to humankind. His viciousness has in contrast reflected the eternal image of Dafa practitioners' righteousness, courageousness, and magnificence. He also helps people who did not know the truth to rethink their own stance -- whether to follow the evil to the dead-end, or to learn truthfulness, benevolence, forbearance and at least become good people. Perhaps some still will not understand the truth, but if they do not help or follow the evil, they are giving themselves a chance to live as human beings.

From any perspective, the courageous and fearless Falun Dafa practitioners are risking their lives to offer an opportunity to all kind people to do good deeds and abandon their evil side, rather than be in the same boat with Jiang Zemin. This is the most basic choice of being a human. It defines what a good human being is, and it is the most fundamental choice to be made in order to be responsible for oneself and for the future generations. Falun Dafa practitioners are enduring tremendous suffering for the people in the world with the hope that you will be able to truly find the correct path for your own life, rather than having to face the same fate as Jiang Zemin. When Falun Dafa practitioners stepped forward and went to Tiananmen Square, and every corner of the country, to clarify the truth about Falun Gong and the persecution, it is the very last chance offered by heaven for all sentient beings, kindhearted government clerks, policemen, soldiers, officials who are afraid, or blindly following or admiring Jiang Zemin's power, and people who have become insensitive to everything ... to make a choice. If every person can examine the matter closely and peacefully and ask yourself why those practitioners can endure peacefully, fearlessly and courageously with great compassion and tolerance, wouldn't you realize that it is the chance for you to be able to depart from evil, keep from being contaminated and preserve your benevolent nature in the face of good and evil? Isn't that the very process with which the great divine beings are helping people, including yourself to raise the morality?

Upon seeing Jiang Zemin's evil doings, do you feel unaffected or feel that it has nothing to do with you? Upon hearing Jiang Zemin's crime, do you want to persuade those kindhearted people to be obedient, or even like some people, to help the tyrant do evil? If Jiang Zemin's perverse acts are unable to make you feel sick, where has the kindness of your original true self gone? If Falun Dafa practitioners' great compassion and forbearance cannot awaken your righteousness, conscience, sympathy, and consideration, then where has your sense of right and wrong as a human being gone?

For those of you who consider yourselves kind people, please think it over again. If it were not for this great purpose, if Falun Dafa practitioners were like you and did not have such great compassion and forbearance, would they be able to endure that small amount of what you can imagine? Would it be possible for anyone with a little bit of selfishness to be able to behave in such a way that makes you have no choice but to respect, to look up to, and to admit that you have potential to become as noble as they are? Don't you wonder where the strength of their compassion and selfless have come from? Don't you want to find out what has caused you to see such a great scene and such a group of great people, how this is related to you, and what kind of predestined relationship you have? Please come and find out what Falun Gong is all about. Please do not miss this historical opportunity that you have encountered which does not occur once in ten thousand years.

Let us show our common nature of benevolence and tell others truthfully what Falun Gong is all about. Let us rectify our sense of right and wrong, good and evil and not agree with Jiang Zemin's evil persecution. Let us treat what is happening in China as if it is happening to us. If a country does not have a normal living environment and its people do not have freedom of choice, thoughts, and beliefs, it is not the way of living granted by heaven. If other people do not have the proper rights of living, it is as if we ourselves are living in an environment unsuitable for human beings. To voice our disagreement with the inhumane treatments of Falun Gong practitioners is to defend the fundamental justice of humankind. To speak highly of Falun Gong practitioners' peacefulness, rationality, selflessness, and fearlessness is to promote the fundamental moral character of human beings. It should be in our second nature to despise and clearly distinguish us from Jiang Zemin's contempt, deception, and ruthlessness.

We wish that all kindhearted people in the world can lead the life that they deserve and be free to chose whatever spiritual practice they prefer and thus they can help maintain good health and morality. We hope that they can follow the practitioners' good ethical principles and respect the sacrifice made by them for society. Let us together clearly distinguish good from evil and right from wrong. Telling our relatives and friends to be disassociated with evil is to prevent them from losing the right to be human. Telling another individual about our benevolence is to help that person from being coerced by evil. Stand on the side of righteousness and honestywith honor tell the truth about the evil-doings of Jiang Zemin to the different levels of the government, government officials, policemen who beat people, and soldiers who intimidate the kind citizens. Let them know to not sacrifice themselves for evil. Let the people around you know the selflessness of Falun Dafa practitioners. Doing these things will help those who have good hearts but work for the government and are forced to do the job. It will help all kindhearted and innocent people. At the same time, it will help the fate of future generations and Chinathe country that we all love.
