(Minghui.org) At a large flea market in Nantes, France, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, Falun Dafa practitioners set up an information booth on Royal Square to introduce the spiritual practice and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.
A prime location, Royal Square was crowded Saturday, and many people stopped to read the display boards and talk with practitioners.
Information about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting was shocking to those who’d never heard of it before. Some said, “This is not human behavior.” After reading about the human rights abuses in China, specifically the forced organ harvesting, many people were quick to sign the petition calling to end it.

After signing the petition, Marie and Pierre said they would tell their friends about it, because they thought what the CCP was doing was inhumane and that it must be held accountable for the terrorist acts it inflicts on people.

Mikael and Sandrine said they were not surprised to hear what was happening in China because the CCP is a dictatorship and Chinese people cannot express themselves freely. They thanked practitioners for being there and telling people about the persecution. Both of them signed the petition. Mikael said he hopes everyone hears about the persecution in China. He said that signing the petition is very important.
A woman was brought to tears as she signed the petition. She explained that she felt heartbroken for the practitioners who were tortured or even killed because they were good people who respected the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. She said, “This is so cruel. It hurts me to hear this.”
A woman who had run into Falun Dafa practitioners before at a health fair said she was drawn to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. She said she’d never forgotten those words and was happy to see them again. She signed the petition.
A young doctor was appalled to learn that doctors in China were harvesting organs from living practitioners to supply the lucrative organ trade. He said doing that violates the physicians’ code of ethics. He signed the petition.
A student who signed the petition said, “What’s happening in China is terrible. My friend is Chinese and he doesn’t know about this. I will bring him the real information.” She took several flyers.
At the end of the event, a woman who was waiting to sign the petition said she was shocked to learn that such a thing could be happening in this day and age. She took several flyers and said she would share them with her friends and relatives. She wished the practitioners good luck.
Many people took leaflets, and 380 people signed the “End Forced Organ Harvesting in China” petition by the end of the day. Some took flyers and said they would give them to their friends and encourage them to sign the online petition. Many people thanked the practitioners for the information and encouraged them to continue raising awareness.
