(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Jirong Harassed
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Feng Detained
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Wei Xiaoqian Detained
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Leng Yafang and Mr. Jiang Zhenshuang Couple Detained

1. [Dazhu City, Sichuan Province] Five Practitioners Detained for a Month and Counting

Ms. She Xingmin, Ms. Yu Shengcui, Ms. Peng Zuyin, Ms. Zhang Zhanping, and Luo Qiong, gender unknown, were arrested by Dazhu County Police Department officers between the evening of October 13 and the afternoon of October 14, 2024. They are being held in the Fuxing Detention Center.

2. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xi Guoxiu Faces Trial

Ms. Xi Guoxiu was scheduled to appear in Hanyang District Court on November 19, 2024.

3. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Pan Guizhen Detained

Ms. Pan Guizhen, of Beijingzi Town, was arrested by Madian Town Police Station officers on October 4, 2024, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Madian Town street market. Her detention location is unknown.

4. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Lihua Faces Prison Sentence

Ms. Wang Lihua was summoned by the Yanji City Court on November 6, 2024 and ordered to verify certain prosecution evidence against her. She refused to comply and was allowed to go home.

5. [Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province] Ms. An Mingyu Detained

Ms. An Mingyu, of Korean ethnicity, was arrested on June 13, 2024. She is being held in the Yanji City Detention Center.

6. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yuqin’s Home Ransacked

Ms. Liu Yuqin’s home was ransacked by officers from Tiexizhonggong Police Station on the morning of October 29, 2024. Her Falun Gong books, some recent articles written by the founder of Falun Gong, and other items were confiscated.

7. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Jirong Harassed

Ms. Wang Jirong lives in Jianshe Village, Yinfeng Township, Majing Town. She was harassed at home by two officers from the Majing Town Police Station on November 9, 2024. The officers tried to take pictures of her. She refused.

8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Feng Detained

Ms. Jiu Feng, in her 70s,was arrested in September 2024. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Weizigou Detention Center.

9. [Tianjin] Ms. Wei Xiaoqian Detained

Ms. Wei Xiaoqian, of Dagang area, Binhai District, was arrested outside of her home on November 6, 2024. She has been detained. The police denied her family from delivering clothes to her.

10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Leng Yafang and Mr. Jiang Zhenshuang Detained

Ms. Leng Yafang and her husband Mr. Jiang Zhenshuang, of Wuchang City, were arrested by officers of Wuchang City’s Qizhi Police Station in mid-October 2024. They are being held in Wuchang Detention Center and Acheng Detention Center, respectively.

11. [Chongqing] Ms. Yu Biying Arrested

Ms. Yu Biying, 78, was arrested at home on the afternoon of November 7, 2024, by Huaxin Street Police Station officers and Dongjiaxi Residential District clerks. They seized her Falun Gong books and other articles written by the founder of Falun Gong. She was taken to the police station for interrogation, and released after being forced to sign her case document.
