(Minghui.org) The Art of Zhen Shan Ren (Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance) International Exhibition was held at the Museum of Memory in the city of Tlaxcala, Mexico, on September 2023. Numerous local visitors and tourists were informed about Falun Gong and the ongoing persecution being carried out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Tlaxcala, the capital of the state of Tlaxcala, is in central Mexico. Tlaxcala was the fourth stop for the Art of Zhen Shan Ren exhibition as it traveled through Mexico this year. In July, it was presented in Nanacamilpa, also in the state of Tlaxcala. In August, the exhibition was shown in the Cultural Center in Tlaxco, Tlaxcala, and in Morelia, the capital of Michoacán.

Practitioners in each city guided visitors to learn about the paintings. They also gave out brochures with information on the nearest practice sites to people interested in learning about and practicing Falun Gong.
Visitors were interested in finding out about what was happening in China through the paintings. The persecution shocked them. They admired the quality of the paintings and were grateful to be able to see the exhibition in their city.
“The way they deliver such deep messages in a painting is beautiful,” commented Paola Torres.
“I never thought that torture like this could happen today,” commented Karla Gil in Morelia about the painting on forced organ harvesting, adding that the paintings “open your eyes to the reality of China.”
For Mr. González, the paintings about the persecution in China “reflect communism, where beliefs are not allowed. The people are not granted freedom of belief, and communism tries to destroy your faith.”
A visitor commented on how art can expose what seeks to be silenced and suppressed: “What the Chinese government has done to the practitioners of this meditation discipline is a crime against humanity,” adding that he hoped that the paintings would help raise awareness and end the persecution.
“I was moved to tears by the painting of the little girl with the remains of her parents in a little golden box,” commented Mr. Ramírez. He said that the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in China is “brutal and unjust” and that we should “raise our voice in the face of such an aberrant and outrageous violation of human rights.”
Another visitor found it incredible that the CCP’s crimes are not talked about internationally or dealt with by international organizations.
The paintings also spurred people’s interest in Falun Gong. “I would like to know more about Falun Gong,” commented María Dávalos. Mr. Valencia said after seeing the exhibition, “I am going to find out more about this cultivation practice.”

Visitors view the paintings at the exhibition in Nanacamilpa, Tlaxcala, Mexico, in July.
In Nanacamilpa, visitor Adela commented, “I am moved because I did not imagine that this was what was happening in China.”
“I am very sad,” said France after learning through the paintings what is happening with Falun Gong in China. “If it bothers the CCP so much, then it must be good for humanity,” she added.
Visitors view the paintings in Morelia, capital city of the state of Michoacán, Mexico, in August.
The exhibition will continue its tour of other cities in Mexico as the year progresses.
