(Minghui.org) I am acquainted with a 75-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner who lives alone and has been practicing Falun Dafa for the past 24 years.
I received a phone call from her on the evening of March 29, 2020. She said that she was covered in blood and was frantically asking me to “please come over quickly!”
I lived nearby, and got there within ten minutes. The practitioner was very pale and her voice trembled. Her hands, pants and slippers were covered in blood. It was as if a main artery had been punctured in her legs. The floor had trails of bright red blood throughout her home. She was in a state of shock.
The elderly practitioner described the events that had unfolded.
She was brushing her teeth at around 8:00 p.m. when she suddenly felt a warm liquid flow down the inside of both legs. Within seconds, her trousers and slippers were soaked in blood.
With a hand full of toilet paper, she tried to stem the flow of blood. When that failed, she tried using layers of underwear to block the flow, but the blood just soaked through. Continued attempts to stem the bleeding were futile.
I told her to remove her clothes and take a shower with warm water. In addition to washing away all the residual blood it would also warm up her body.
I reminded her, “You're a Falun Dafa practitioner. Your Master is Li Hongzhi. Dafa practitioners only recognize and accept the arrangements that are made by Master. The old forces want to persecute you. You must eliminate them completely.”
I advised her to recite Master’s Fa or the phrases, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”
While the elderly practitioner was in the shower, I cleaned up the blood on the floor and throughout her home. At this point, practitioner Jing arrived and together we went to see how the elderly practitioner was doing.
Blood continued to flow down her legs, but she had calmed down a lot. In addition to sending forth righteous thoughts, she continually recited the auspicious phrases. Her bleeding started to slow down.
Jing went out and bought a pack of thick sanitary napkins. After applying them, the elderly practitioner came and sat with us. Together, we concentrated hard to send forth powerful righteous thoughts.
The elderly practitioner went to check herself in the bathroom afterward and found that the flow of blood had decreased to only a trickle. As we continued to send forth righteous thoughts she became more alert and color had returned to her face. It was already 10:30 p.m. and she was feeling much better.
We both bid her good night and returned home.
I checked up on her the following day. She told me that after we left she did not retire to bed, but went on to recite Master’s poem, “Rectifying the Fa” eighty-one times.
“My one thought stunned the firmament and beyond – I wanted to save all beings and rid all that’s harmfulCountless layers of the rotten Old Forces impeded my pathEntering the human world, I realized things were worseRectifying the Fa as I go, penetrating all layers of the cosmosAll choosing to oppose the rectification were eliminatedWhen Heaven wishes for change, who’d dare obstruct? The cosmos, now rebuilt, will never again turn bad”(“Rectifying the Fa,” Hong Yin III)
She then proceeded to recite Master’s poem “Righteous Thoughts” eighty-one times.
“Swift like lightening, soaring to cosmic heightsMighty like a thunderbolt, reaching beyond heavensSweeping across the cosmos, no place untouchedEliminating altogether all that’s decayed and deviant”(“Righteous Thoughts,” Hong Yin IV)
After that she sent forth righteous thoughts, and then repeated the cycle, silently reciting each poem in turn eighty-one times.
By then, it was almost 1:00 a.m. and the practitioner was convinced that everything had returned to normal. A quick check confirmed that the blood had indeed stopped flowing.
Under Master’s compassionate protection, this practitioner’s firm faith in Dafa and her righteous thoughts successfully disintegrated the interfering old force elements, and allowed her to overcome this life-threatening tribulation within five hours.
