(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Graz, Austria’s second-largest city, held an information day on August 3, 2024, to introduce Falun Dafa to passersby. They set up a booth on Herrengasse Street next to the entrance of Styria’s state parliament. They demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and handed out informational materials about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 25-year-long persecution.

Located in southern Austria, Graz is the capital city of Styria, and its beautiful scenery and historic buildings make it a popular tourist destination. Tourists and local residents were touched by the peaceful scene as practitioners did the exercises and came to their booth to learn about Falun Dafa. Some were surprised when they heard how badly practitioners were mistreated in China, and signed petitions calling to end the atrocities. Some thanked practitioners for holding the event because they hadn’t heard about Falun Dafa before. 

Many people told practitioners that they agreed with the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance displayed on the banner. One woman said, “There are so many bad things in this society. We need something positive to maintain our life so it’s good to hear there are great values such as Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.” She was pleased to receive information about the free 9-day workshop where she could watch videos of lectures given by Master Li, Falun Dafa’s founder.

A mother from New Zealand and her child talked to practitioners, and she said she learned the exercises several years ago in Vienna. She was glad to see a group practice site in Graz and said she would buy Falun Dafa’s main book Zhuan Falun to read.
