(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities in several cities in Italy in March 2024 to tell people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
Introducing Falun Dafa at Florence’s Cassin Park
Practitioners set up display boards and banners and demonstrated the exercises at the large outdoor market in Cassin Park in Florence on March 19.
Two young people from France asked for more information about Falun Dafa after they saw practitioners demonstrating the exercises. A practitioner told them the exercises are simple and suitable for both young and old and gave them information on the local group practice site on Sundays.
The two asked many questions, so practitioners shared their experiences of living by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. One of the young people said, “It seems Falun Dafa is very important. Its profoundness is inspiring.”
When they heard that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is persecuting it, they said they knew the CCP suppressed minority groups but they had not heard about the persecution. They said practitioners’ activities would help more people know about Falun Dafa and the true situation in China. They said they planned to learn the exercises.

A woman from northern Italy studied the display boards with her family and asked practitioners many questions, especially about the persecution in China.
The woman said that she was a journalist and initially had a hard time believing the persecution was taking place. She was very interested in the exercises and said that she wanted to try practicing Falun Dafa. She said that she’d been looking for a cultivation practice but had not found one. After listening to practitioners describe Falun Dafa, she was deeply moved. Her entire family signed the petition.
After two Asian youths from the U.S. read the flier, they said they did not know about the persecution in China and thanked practitioners for the information.
Many passersby were appalled to hear about the CCP’s state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living practitioners and condemned the brutality.
Events in Milan and Rome
Practitioners held events on Galleria del Toro/Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II located in the center of Milan on March 23.

Practitioners held an information day in Rome on March 30. Their venue was located between Sant’Angelo Castel and the Vatican, and because it was nearly Easter, there were many tourists. Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises, while others introduced the practice and told people about the CCP’s persecution.

Garibaldi Square in Cagliari, Sardinia
Local practitioners held activities on Garibaldi Square in Cagliari, Sardinia, on March 30. They demonstrated the exercises and told people about Falun Dafa.

Young people and children who passed by were drawn by the exercises and some copied the practitioners’ movements as they did the exercises. Their parents expressed their appreciation and accepted the fliers practitioners distributed and signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
A couple who asked about the persecution signed the petition. They were interested in practicing Falun Dafa and bought a copy of the book Zhuan Falun.
A man signed the petition right after learning about the persecution. He asked how to access the Falun Dafa website so he could learn more.
