(Minghui.org) Practitioners were invited to introduce Falun Dafa to over 650 students and teachers at Zamná Secondary School No. 15 in Tulum, Quintana Roo on November 11, 2024. Many students and teachers expressed an interest in learning how to practice Falun Dafa. The school principal said that the teachings of Falun Dafa would help them educate the students, and encouraged everyone to learn the practice.
Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises at the Zamná Secondary School in Tulún, Quintana Roo, southeastern Mexico, on November 11.
Since October 2024, practitioners introduced the teachings and demonstrated the exercises to 18 groups of students aged 12 to 15. During these three-hour long sessions, the students learned about Falun Dafa and were taught the exercises.
Eighteen groups of students aged from 12 to 15 in Zamná Secondary School in Tulún, Mexico learn about Falun Dafa and the exercises.
The students watched Rag Doll, a short video that introduces Falun Dafa and exposes the ongoing persecution of the practitioners in China, and they also learned how to make origami lotus flowers. Practitioners explained that lotus flowers symbolize the pure hearts of Falun Dafa practitioners.

This initiative was made possible through the support of the school principal Professor Azael Nahuat Dzib. Professor Dzib thanked the practitioners for their efforts, and was committed to sharing Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance with the students, faculty and staff.

The principal said to his students and teachers, “Falun Dafa is beneficial in all educational fields, specifically for curricular integration and for socio-emotional education, but it is also very good in physical education.
“Students need a lot of socio-emotional support regarding the prospects for a harmonious life. Falun Dafa is an opportunity for them they did not know about it. It is of interest to the students.
“For teachers it is a pleasant experience because they face the challenges of disciplining, correcting, guiding and, above all, training the students. I have heard from teachers that [Falun Dafa] helps them a lot.”
Professor Fernando Marín observed that by doing the Falun Dafa exercises, students were able to relax, maintain serenity and enter into tranquility. He also appreciates the value of cultivating tolerance among students and recommended that they learn about, and practice Falun Dafa, which he considers “something motivating and beautiful” and “a unique experience.”
Iris, a second grader who does the exercises at a local practice site, said that practicing Falun Dafa makes her feel calm. She said the exercises benefit her and “they help me feel better when I feel bad.”
For those students who did not attend the exercise teaching sessions but were interested in learning Falun Dafa, Principal Dzib invited practitioners to offer afternoon sessions for them in the coming year.
Several years ago, the practitioners in Tulum, Mexico played the documentary Free China: The Courage to Believe at this school. They also held an exhibition: “The Art of Truth, Benevolence and Tolerance” at the Tulum House of Culture.
