(Minghui.org) The Vietnam Festival held in Yoyogi Park from June 3-4, 2023, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic relations (1973-2023).
Falun Dafa practitioners came to the festival and introduced the beauty of the meditation practice, told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of practitioners in China, and called for an end to the persecution.
Practitioners displayed information in both Japanese and Vietnamese.
Practitioners held poster boards in both Japanese and Vietnamese. They also gave out informational materials and small lotus flowers. Many people liked the flowers and listened attentively to practitioners as they told them about the persecution. Some were shocked when they heard about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners. Others asked about the Falun Dafa website so they could learn more about the practice.
Practitioners distribute flyers to passersby. Many people were interested in Falun Dafa.

One practitioner said that people were cautious at first, but when they were told that Falun Dafa was free of charge, is a cultivation practice for the body and mind and not a religion, and had nothing to do with politics, people gladly accepted the flyers and lotus flowers. During the festival, practitioners told people that the reason they distributed the materials was to spread the positive message and to call attention to CCP’s forced live organ harvesting.
One Vietnamese man said, “I have seen you standing here all day, yet you still look so energetic. It looks like Falun Dafa is a good practice. We elderly often get sick. I will tell my wife about this practice and we will try it out.”
