(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 19 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
It was learned on January 28, 2022 that Ms. Tian Keqin was transferred from the Huludao Detention Center to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison.
Ms. Yin Dongmei in her 70s and Ms. Wu Jinrong were arrested in 2019 and were sentenced to three years and four years in prison respectively in 2021.
Ms. Jing Fengmei was arrested by officers Wang Shuang and Liu Yang from the Anqing Road Police Station in Qikai District on the afternoon of October 28, 2021. She was first detained in the Weizigou Detention Center and later transferred to the No. 4 Detention Center of Changchun City on November 13, 2021. She was placed under official arrest on November 27, 2021. The case against her was submitted to the Chaoyang District Procuratorate at the end of December 2022.
Ms. Jing is currently detained in the No. 4 Cell, No. 4 Detention Center of Changchun City. Officer Sun Siyao is in charge of her case.
Ms. Zhou Jing from Dongcheng District has not been seen or heard from for two weeks.
Three officers from the Yongji Police Station including Jing Chang, Zhong Yan and Sun Jiawei, went to Ms. Yu Mei’s home on January 29, 2022. Ms. Yu was not at home. Her father was pressured to sign on the search permit. Her home was ransacked and 32 Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Jiao Shuying from Hongfuyuan Community, Changping District, was arrested at home by officers from the local police station on the afternoon of January 23, 2022. Her home was ransacked. Two desk calendars and several cards were confiscated. Ms. Jiao was taken to the Changping Detention Center on January 24, 2022.
Ms. Tang Yu was arrested at home by officers from the Dongluqiao Police Station in the Xishan District on January 18, 2022.
Ms. Zhang Qiong in her 50s was arrested on October 16, 2021. The details are unknown.
Ms. Fang Zhilan and her husband live in Xiaohongshi Village, Hongshi Town. Three officers from the town police station went to their home on January 28, 2022. They ransacked their home and confiscated all their Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder. The couple was taken to the police station and released later that day.
Ms. Xing Gezhen is currently detained in the No.1 Detention Center of Datong City.
Zhao Penghui, deputy of the Beijiao Township Police Station, arrested Ms. Xin Chunting in her 70s on December 16, 2021. Zhao Penghui led three people from the procuratorate to Ms. Xin’s home on January 18, 2022 and attempted to further persecute Ms. Xin. Those people also threatened Ms. Xin’s daughter’s family.
Three people including officer Xu Xiaoming from the Tongji Police Station and Cai Ting from the Huaguangcun Community, went to Ms. Li Defang’s home on October 18, 2021. They forcibly took Ms. Li to the Pengzhou City brainwashing center. Ms. Li refused to cooperate and was released later that day.
Officers including Xu Xiaoming went to Ms. Li’s home again on October 26, 2021 and pressured her to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused.
Officers including Xu Xiaoming went to Ms. Li’s home on November 23, 2021. They forcefully held Ms. Li’s hand to press her fingerprint on the guarantee statement against her will.
Ms. Yang Wenhua, who is in her 60s, has been harassed by police several times.
Three officers went to her home around 10:30 a.m. on May 15, 2021. They asked whether she still practiced Falun Gong and photographed her.
Two officers called and went to her home on October 31, 2021. They pressured her to sign a guarantee statement, which she refused.
Four officers called and went to her home around 11 a.m. on January 2, 2022. They photographed her.
Two officers from the Xining Police Station went to Ms. Tan Xiaorong’s home and then to Ms. Liu Xiaoli’s home on January 19, 2022. Both practitioners were not at home when they came.
