(Minghui.org) Guards at Shandong Province Women’s Prison have instigated inmates to torture Falun Gong practitioners ever since the Chinese communist regime began to persecute this ancient spiritual and meditation discipline in 1999. 

Xu Yumei, head of the prison’s Division 11, Li Chunling, Wang Jianfang, and Dai Dabing are some of the guards who order inmates to brutally target practitioners.

Inmate Tang Weiwei, in her 30s, is serving a 19-year term for fraud. She didn’t allow practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuqin to use the bathroom and forced her to relieve herself in her clothes on May 26, 2021. 

Tang often instructed other inmates to mix a drug named “JS” into the food of practitioners who refused to renounce Falun Gong. Most of the practitioners are held in cells 204 and 206. Guard Dai Xiaobing also force-fed practitioners unknown drugs and drew blood samples from them.

On June 11, another inmate, Song Chunmei knocked out practitioner Ms. Jiang Shue’s teeth because Ms. Jiang refused to write a “thought report.” To shirk responsibility, Song fabricated a statement saying that Ms. Jiang’s teeth were loose and fell out on their own.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Hongzhao was denied the use of bathroom and had to wet her pants on September 14, 2021. To protest the persecution, she went on a hunger strike.

Practitioner Ms. Gao Mingxia of Qingdao City was sentenced to prison for exposing the tortures she previously suffered in the prison, including being shackled to the ground and having cold water poured over her, with the window left open in the winter. Inmate Xu Yumei also placed Ms. Gao in solitary confinement. 

Inmate Li Qin jabbed practitioner Ms. Li Shuzhen in the ribs with a ballpoint pen, making nine holes in her body.

Inmate Li Chunling, in her 60s, often instructed other inmates to beat the practitioners. 

Inmate Jiang Ping, from Qingdao, tortured practitioners by violently brushing their vaginas with a shoe brush.

Guard Wang Jianfang appointed inmate Wang Xiaona to torture practitioners in any way she wanted. In return, she was rewarded with the privilege of being allowed to take hot showers and having others do her laundry.

Other inmates who are known to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners at Shandong Province Women’s Prison are: Gao Guizhen, Zhang Min, Lu Guilian, Yang Meijuan, Cui Lili, Zhang Xiumin, Fan Cuiyan, Li Jifeng, Fu Guiying, Han Lianfeng, Wei Wenyong, Du Nusha, Zhou Hongman, Xue Dongjun, Jian Ping, Jiang Xiaoyan, Zhang Xiaohong, Zhang Shuai, Lu Meng, Zhang Yaoyun and Kong Jingjing.
