(Minghui.org) A cold snowy day did not stop Falun Dafa practitioners from going out and exposing the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against Dafa practitioners in China. They put up banners and demonstrated the exercises in Sakae, Nagoya City on February 6, 2022. The messages on the banners read: “SOS Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong,” and, “Support Global Petition to Sue Jiang and Stop the CCP from Harvesting Organs.” They handed out information about the 22-year-long persecution in China to let the public know about the CCP’s ongoing human rights violations.
Practitioners in Japan demonstrate the exercises in Sakae, Nagoya City, on February 6, 2022.
When the practitioners set up the banners, the snow started to fall. Around noon time, the snow got heavier and most pedestrians had their umbrellas out. Mr. Sasaki came to one of the practitioners he knew and said, “Last Sunday I told you that I would sign the petition on February 6. I’m keeping my word and I am here to sign.”
It turned out that on the prior Sunday the practitioners held the same activity there and Mr. Sasaki talked to the practitioners. A practitioner explained to him why the CCP persecutes Falun Dafa in China while the rest of the world embraced the practice. During the conversation the practitioner told Mr. Sasaki that the authorities in China incarcerated practitioners and harvested their organs while they were alive to make huge profits from the sales of organs.
The practitioner then handed Mr. Sasaki a flier and asked if he would sign the petition to support the lawsuits against the former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, who launched the persecution in 1999 and caused the death and suffering of countless practitioners and their families. Mr. Sasaki said, “Let me look at the flier first, and I will sign next Sunday on February 6.”
Mr. Sasaki kept his promise, and came to the practitioner on that exact date, despite the harsh weather. The practitioner and Mr. Sasaki walked to a place protected by an overhang and Mr. Sasaki carefully signed his full name and dated it.
He thanked the practitioner after he signed and said, “Thanks for your hard work and keep it up!”
Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) was first introduced to the public by Mr. Li Hongzhi in Changchun, China in 1992. The spiritual discipline is now practiced in over 100 countries and regions worldwide. Millions of people who have embraced the teachings, which are based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and learned the five gentle exercises, have experienced uplifted health and well-being.
Jiang Zemin, former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), perceived the spiritual discipline's growing popularity as a threat to the CCP's atheistic ideology and on July 20, 1999, issued an order to ban the practice.
Under Jiang's personal direction, the CCP established the 610 Office, an extralegal security organization with the power to override the police and judicial systems and whose sole function is to carry out the persecution of Falun Dafa.
Minghui.org has confirmed the deaths of thousands of practitioners as a result of the persecution over the past 22 years, though due to the difficulty in getting informaiton out of China, the actual number is believed to be much higher. Many more have been imprisoned and tortured for their faith.
There is concrete evidence that the CCP sanctions the harvesting of organs from detained practitioners, who are murdered to supply the organ transplant industry.
