(Minghui.org) May 13, 2021 is the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day and the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. The mayors of three cities in Massachusetts issued proclamations for Falun Dafa Day.
Mayor Joseph M. Petty of Worcester proclaimed May 2021 to be Falun Dafa Day in the city and encouraged all residents to recognize and participate in its observance.
The proclamation reads, “Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, is a peaceful self-improvement practice rooted in ancient Chinese culture that centers around the principle of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance and it consists of five gentle exercises, including meditation.”
“Falun Dafa practitioners’ determination and courage to stand up for Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance while facing severe persecution from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has shown the world the value of life and the preciousness of human dignity.”
