1. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Junyong and Mr. Yuan Jianye Face Trial

Mr. Zhang Junyong and Mr. Yuan Jianye are scheduled to be tried in the Shangjie District on the afternoon of December 8, 2021.

2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Huang Suqin Faces Trial

Ms. Huang Suqin will be tried by the Linghai City Court on December 8, 2021. Using the pandemic as an excuse, the court will not allow her family to be present during the trial.

3. [Panzihua City, Sichuan Province] Second Hearing for Ms. Wu Min

A second hearing was held for Ms. Wu Min, 62, in the Dong District Court at 9:30 a.m. on December 6, 2021. The hearing lasted two hours. After Ms. Wu spoke, her attorney started his defense. He said the facts presented were unclear and the evidence was insufficient, that what Ms. Wu was being accused of did not constitute a crime, and practicing Falun Gong is not a crime. He noted that Ms. Wu did not disturb the social order and harmed no one and that the freedoms of belief and speech were the basic rights of every citizen. Falun Gong is a belief, so practicing Falun Gong is not a crime. The attorney asked that the prosecutor withdraw their case and release Ms. Wu.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Jing Faces Trial

Ms. Yang Jing was arrested at home by officers from the Hongpailou Police Station on March 13, 2021. The Wuhou District Procuratorate issued the arrest warrant on April 19, 2021. Her case was submitted to the Wuhou District Court.

5. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Leng Xiuying Harassed

Ms. Leng Xiuying was harassed at home on October 14 and 15, 2021, by agents from the Dongchan Town government and officers from the Dongchan Police Station. They tried to force her to sign the three statements renouncing Falun Gong. She refused. They threatened to stop her pension and fire her son from his teaching position.

6. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Kuang Fengmei and Ms. Peng Chunhe Harassed

Ms. Kuang Fengmei, 80, a retired teacher, was harassed at home several times on November 15, 2021, by Xiao Changyun from the Nanyue District Education Committee and Chen Zhimin from the school district. They tried to “transform” her. They handed her a pre-written repentance statement and ordered her to sign it. She refused. They said they would have her son sign it for her. She replied, “No one can represent me so no one else can sign it.” She was called in for a “talk” on November 21. Agents, including deputy secretaries from the province and city Political and Legal Affairs Committee, tried to “transform” her.

Ms. Peng Chunhe, in her 70s, was repeatedly harassed by clerks from the Nanyue District street office and community in the second half of November 2021. To try to coerce her to renounce Falun Gong, they threatened her, tried to bribe her with money, and tried to deceive her into writing a repentance statement. She refused. They goaded her son into putting pressure on her.

7. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaona Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiaona was arrested by officers from Domestic Security Division several days ago for browsing the Internet on her cell phone. She was released because her husband was disabled. The officers threatened to sentence her if she did not sign a statement renouncing Falun Gong in two days.

8. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Xiaomin Detained

Ms. Liu Xiaomin of Beiyigu Village was dragged to the Liucun Village Committee and reported to police for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong and distributing calendars in Liu Village on December 3, 2021. Dabeiwang Police Station officers arrested her and took her to the Yongnian District Detention Center on the afternoon of December 4. She was subjected to 15 days of detention.

9. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Yuemei Detained

Ms. Zhang Yuemei, around 70, has been held in the Baoding area since the end of November 2021.

10. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhou Yuezhen Detained

Ms. Zhou Yuezhen is being held in a detention center.

11. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Xia Jingze Detained

Ms. Xia Jingze was arrested by officers from the Guihuaping Police Station on the morning of November 29, 2021, for posting and distributing Falun Gong flyers. She is being held in the Changsha No.4 Detention Center. Her case was submitted to the Changsha City Procuratorate.

12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Dai Yaoqi Arrested

Ms. Dai Yaoqi was arrested on the afternoon of December 5, 2021, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Huang Yexiu and her husband, Mr. Liu Yingsong, were harassed at home around 10 a.m. on December 1, 2021, by Yang Shaoqi from the Aoping Town government, Fengquan Village CCP secretary Pan Xianyong, and others. They forced the couple to sign and fingerprint documents renouncing Falun Gong.

Ms. Yang Shizhen was harassed at home on the morning of December 1, 2021, by Shiquan Village CCP deputy secretary Li Dong and others. They ordered her to fingerprint three papers, saying, “If you don’t, the police will come and force you to sign and fingerprint the three statements [torenounceFalunGong]. They will shackle you, handcuff you, walk you through the streets [thisisa method the CCP uses topubliclyhumiliatethevictim]. What will happen to you after that, we don’t know.”

They called for additional assistance. One person held her from behind, one held her left hand, and another held her right hand. One held the three statements in front of her and pressed her thumb on it. Then they left.

14. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Yao Xiaoyan Arrested

Ms. Yao Xiaoyan was arrested in her community by officers from the Yongning County Police Department on December 2, 2021.

15. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Ms. He Guangying’s Husband Arrested

Two cars full of people went to Ms. He Guangying’s home on December 4, 2021, as part of the “zero out” campaign to force practitioners to sign the three statements renouncing Falun Gong. The group included the secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, 610 Office agents, police officers, and village community members. Ms. He was not at home. They arrested her husband; his whereabouts are now unknown.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested

Four practitioners were arrested in a practitioner’s home by officers from the Qiaokou Police Department on November 30, 2021, when they were reading Falun Gong books together. They are Ms. Liu Zhiying, Mr. Wang (first name unknown), Gao (first name and gender unknown), and an unidentified practitioner.

17. [Huachuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Li Xianqing Arrested

Li Xianqing (gender unknown) of Huachuan County was arrested by officers from the Changfa Police Station in Jiamusi City at 5:10 p.m. on December 6, 2021, after a villager reported Li for distributing Falun Gong flyers in Changfa Town. Li was taken to the Changfa Police Station.

18. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Ms. Xue Yueming Repeatedly Harassed

Ms. Xue Yueming was harassed at home from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m on April 14, 2021, by more than 20 people from the city’s Domestic Security Division, the city and district Political and Legal Affairs Committee, and the street office.

She was harassed from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on September 2, 2021, by seven or eight people from the city’s Domestic Security Division, district Political and Legal Affairs Committee, street office, and community. They tried to force her to sign documents renouncing Falun Gong but failed.

She was harassed from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 14, 2021, by at least 20 people from the provincial and city Political and Legal Affairs Committee, city Domestic Security Division, police department, street office, and community. They tried to coerce her to sign four documents renouncing Falun Gong. She refused.

19. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Qing Guangrong Harassed

Ms. Qing Guangrong was harassed at home on December 2, 2021, by officers from the Guankou Police Station, including director Hao Lan. They seized her Falun Gong books and copies of Minghui Weekly. They ripped up a picture of Falun Gong’s founder and used a knife to scratch off a poster with “Falun Dafa Is Good” written on it. They then took her to the police station. Officer Zhang Xiaolong and others held her to secure her fingerprints.

20. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Song Dechun Arrested

Mr. Song Dechun was arrested at home by officers from the Taihe Domestic Security Division on the evening of December 2, 2021.

21. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yao Ronghua and Grandma Zhou Harassed

Mr. Yao Ronghua and Grandma Zhou (first name unknown), both in their 70s, were harassed at home at the end of November 2021. Clerks from the street office and officers from the police station seized their Falun Gong books, a picture of Falun Gong’s founder, copies of Minghui Weekly, tablets, and paper currency with Falun Gong messages written on them. Grandma Zhou was so terrified that she passed out.

22. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Ms. Yue Puling Arrested

Ms. Yue Puling was arrested in front of her apartment building by officers from the Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Police Department on December 4, 2021. Her home was ransacked.

23. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. He Nianzhen Repeatedly Harassed

Ms. He Nianzhen and her family were repeatedly harassed by clerks from the Zhenjiangsi Community and officers from the police station during August and September 2021. They repeatedly called her husband and children. They went to her home and ordered her to sign statements renouncing Falun Gong. She refused. They knocked on her door every day. Her family was stressed out. To make it less stressful for her family, she left home. They harassed her children trying to find out where she was.

24. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Practitioners and Their Families Harassed

Ms. Tan Meihua, Ms. Hou Meixiu, Ms. Yang Xiurong, Ms. Zhang Minyan, and Ms. Tang Minglan were harassed at home on November 25, 2021. Three agents from the Hunan Province 610 Office, an agent from the Huaihua 610 Office, Wu Xiangjian from the Jingzhou 610 Office, and others tried to force the practitioners to renounce Falun Gong. They claimed it was part of the “zero out campaign,” and even tried to force the practitioners’ family members to sign documents renouncing Falun Gong.

25. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xue Caiping Develops Tumor

Ms. Xue Caiping, in her 40s, of Yantai City, Shandong Province, worked in Guangzhou. She was arrested for distributing Falun Gong flyers on March 24, 2021, by officers Chen Guirong and Lai Xichang from the Changxing Police Station. She was held at the Tianhe District Detention Center. In October, her abdomen was so swollen she looked eight months pregnant. She was admitted to the Guangzhou City People’s Hospital on medical bail with two guards stationed next to her bed.

Her doctor said she had a malignant tumor of over 20 cm and that ascites was the cause of her swollen abdomen. She is not able to walk or lie down. She has to sit up to sleep at night and her voice is very weak.

She got two shots on December 4, and her legs became swollen on December 5.

26. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Duan Guixiu Detained, Her Daughter Arrested

Ms. Duan Guixiu was arrested in front of her home by plainclothes officers from the Yinzhu Police Station on the morning of November 29, 2021. They seized two computers, two cell phones, Falun Gong books, and other items from her home. They also arrested her daughter because they claimed that she did not cooperate with law enforcement.

The daughter was questioned in the police station that afternoon. They beat her, verbally abused her, and forced her to sign the police records. She was released around 10:30 a.m. the following day.

At noon that day, November 30, the daughter received notification of her mother’s criminal detention.

The daughter went to the police station and got back her cell phone on the morning of December 1.

27. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Two Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Zhang Cuixian was harassed at home on November 30, 2021, by Wu Xueyi from the Junyue Commune, CCP secretary Zhao Chengyao from Mamuhe Village, and officers from the police station. They ransacked her home without a warrant. They also ransacked another practitioner’s home.

They took her to the Junyue Police Station, questioned her, and made her fingerprint the police records. They did it again on December 2.

28. [Gaozhou City, Guangdong Province] Eight Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Huang Huifang, Mr. Yu Tao, Ms. Zhou Daqiong, Ms. Wu Youqing, and Ms. Li Jianying were each sentenced to four years in prison. Mr. Wu Zuqiang was sentenced to eight years in prison. He died as a result of persecution. Mr. Wu Yongjian and Ms. Yuan Jieling were sentenced to seven years in prison. Ms. Yuan suffered a mental collapse as a result of persecution.
