(Minghui.org) During the past over 20 years that Falun Dafa has been persecuted, its practitioners have become more mature. By interacting with such dignified practitioners, more and more people who work in government agencies of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have understood the truth and made the right choice.
Our Party secretary is currently leading the so-called “Zero-Out” campaign in our village. Falun Dafa practitioners in 37 countries have submitted a perpetrators’ list to their respective governments, calling on them to prohibit those perpetrators and their families from entering those countries, as well as freezing their overseas assets.
Someone who recently started practicing Dafa called me. She told me she’d been to the police station and heard that the Party secretary was looking for me.
I ran into the Party secretary at a supermarket. He was with several police officers and they were searching for practitioners to pressure them to sign a statement renouncing their belief in Falun Dafa. I said to him, “I heard you are looking for me.” He answered, “No, no!”
I said, “Well, you may not be looking for me, but I am looking for you.” I clarified the truth to him and told him that what they were doing was illegal. I also told him that America and other countries are sanctioning those who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. I told him I was ready to submit a list of names of perpetrators, including his, along with details of the persecution.
“If you continue to persecute practitioners, I will have to include your name on that list. Then your children won’t be able to go abroad in the future.” The secretary blurted out, “No, no, no! Please don’t submit that perpetrators’ list!”
“If you can understand the truth about Dafa and stop persecuting practitioners, then I will not submit your name. But if you continue to pressure practitioners to sign the renouncement, however, I will.”
The officers just stood there, bewildered, and couldn’t move. I told them, “You can go now. I finished what I wanted to say.” Then they turned around and left.
Whenever there is a market or fair in our area, practitioners always go to distribute truth-clarification materials and encourage people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Most people have learned the truth. In fact, people now often come up and ask us for brochures. We have been doing this for years.
A practitioner was arrested when she gave truth-clarification materials to a police officer at a marketplace. She was taken to the detention center and held for 15 days. The police also broke into her home and confiscated her printer, computer, cell phone, and Dafa books.
After she was released, she went to the police station to clarify the truth to the director and the officer who arrested her. She told them, “I never broke any law. It was you that broke the law. Return the items you confiscated to me!” An officer said, “We can only return your cell phone. We submitted the other items to police headquarters.” She replied, “If you don’t return them to me, I will come every day to ask for them!”
She indeed went to the police station every day. At first, the officers avoided her. Over time, they stopped avoiding her and even complained, “After we arrested you, practitioners put up information about us and our families up and down the street, and we received so many phone calls. We cannot live in peace!” They also joked, “You come every day, yet you don’t even bring us a gift?”
The practitioner said, “I will have a gift for you. I will write a letter comparing what you are doing with the law, clause by clause. Then you will know why what you do is unlawful and why are we encouraging you to stop doing bad things and do good things.” One of the officers exclaimed, “You are here to save our police station and us.”
When she finished the letter, she went to the police station and handed it to the director. He refused to read it, so she said, “If you refuse to read it, I will post the letter in your public mailbox outside.” The director immediately said, “Okay, I’ll read it, I’ll read it.” The practitioner watched him read the letter.
The officer who’d arrested her then drove her home. On the way, the officer said, “We will not arrest you anymore. It was a mistake to arrest you. You scared our director. Whenever you come, he doesn’t even dare to come downstairs. Please don’t come anymore. We won’t arrest you again.”
Through this practitioner’s truth-clarification efforts, these police officers now understand the truth.
