1. [Wenshan City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Ren Huaiping and Ms. Peng Yunkui Arrested and Detained
Ms. Ren Huaiping and Ms. Peng Yunkui (both over 70) are currently in the Yanshan County Detention Center. The two were arrested on May 13, 2020, by Tao Zhengwu, who is the Wenshan Domestic Security Division deputy, and other police officers. Their homes were ransacked. They were interrogated in the police station and then released.
2. [Wenshan City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Dong Yunxian Tried in Court
Ms. Dong Yunxian, 78, was tried via live video by the Wenshan City Court on December 1, 2020. Ms. Dong has been detained in the Yanshan County Detention Center ever since she was arrested on June 30, 2020.
3. [Yutian County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Harassed
Three police officers from Woluogu Town Police Station harassed three practitioners—Mr. Liu Encun, Ms. Liang Jinzhi, and Ms. Cui Shuping—on the afternoon of December 4, 2020. The practitioners were ordered to sign a guarantee statement.
The same police officers harassed Mr. Liu Shangliang and Ms. Meng Chunling on December 5, 2020.
4. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhu Qunqun Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhu Qunqun was arrested by officers from the Panhuang Police Station on October 25, 2020. She was taken to Yancheng City Detention Center on November 3, 2020, and is still detained there.
5. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Aiyun Harassed
Ms. Wang Aiyun was harassed at home on December 11, 2020. by three Minshan Committee staff members in the Jingyang District. They tried to make Ms. Wang sign the guarantee statement and photograph her, which she firmly refused to allow.
6. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yin Guangmin Arrested
Ms. Yin Guangmin lives in Taipingzhuang Village, Hongquan Township, Qianguo County, Songyuan City. She was arrested on December 11, 2020, by county police and was threatened with a two-year prison sentence if she refused to sign the guarantee statement. Her whereabouts are now unknown.
7. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Hong Shanyu Harassed
Ms. Hong Shanyu was harassed at home around 8 a.m. on December 10, 2020, by three police officers, including Xiao Li, from the Shigu District Police Department. They photographed Ms. Hong and attempted to search for truth-clarifying materials, which Ms. Hong refused to allow. This is the second time this year Ms. Hong has been harassed by the police.
8. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Mei Yanchang Repeatedly Harassed
Mr. Mei Yanchang from the Xushui District was harassed at home by officers from the Dawangdian Police Station multiple times from the end of November to early December 2020. They called the village director to ask when Mr. Mei was at work. They kept going to his home and pounding on the door. They made harassing phone calls to his father and pressured him to come to the police station and sign the guarantee statement on behalf of his son.
9. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Miao and two other practitioners were arrested by domestic security division officers.
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qiu Tieyan Harassed
Ms. Qiu Tieyan in Yayuan Community in Guchengxindu, Hushitai Town, Shenbei New District, was harassed at home in mid-November by Yang, a community employee, and local police officers. They tried to make her sign the guarantee statement, warning her that her granddaughter’s future would be adversely affected if she didn’t.
On December 6, 2020, five or six people from the local community and Hushitai Town government officials went to her home again, but Ms. Qiu was not there. They tricked her husband into signing the guarantee statements on her behalf.
11. [Tianjin] Ms. Song Huichan Arrested
Ms. Song Huichan from Tanggu in the Binhai New District was arrested at his parent’s home around 7 p.m. on December 8, 2020, by officers from the Hujiayuan Police Station in Tanggu. She was released around 1 a.m. that day.
12. [Pingxiang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Shuling Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Liu Shuling was arrested at home on the morning of December 10, 2020, and taken to a brainwashing center in Xingtai City. Those involved in her arrest included Li Zelong, head of Police Bureau; officials from the county Political and Legal Affairs Committee; and county police department officers.
13. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. He Lixia Persecuted
Ms. He Lixia from Dumeng County was arrested on November 9, 2018. She was released on bail pending trial after she held a 15-day hunger strike. She then left home.
When she returned almost a month later, she was arrested at home on November 25, 2020. Her younger sister went to visit her in the detention center on December 5, 2020, but was not allowed to see her. She was told that Ms. He had been on a hunger strike for days.
14. [Huilai County, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Guixia Arrested and Detained
Ms. Ren Guixia from Beixinbao Village was arrested on December 12, 2020, by three officers from the Huailai County Domestic Security Division. She was held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention House for five days.
15. [Pingding County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Qiaorun and Ms. Xi Xiulin Tried in Court
Ms. Zhanng Qiaorun was secretly tried via live video by the Pingding County Court on December 5, 2020.
Ms. Xi Xiulin was tried secretly by the Pingding County Court on February 8, 2020. No family or friends were present. She was then taken to the Yu County Detention Center but was refused admission because she failed the medical exam. She was taken home and was placed under residential surveillance for six months.
16. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Hua and Ms. Li Weiqing Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yu Hua from the Nanguan District was arrested on December 2, 2020, and her home was ransacked. She was held in the Weizigou Detention House until her term expired on December 12, 2020. She was then taken to No.4 Detention Center in Changchun by officers from the Chaoyang District Police Department and the Yihelu Police Station.
Ms. Li Weiqing was arrested at the same time as Ms. Yu Hua.
17. [Ju County, Shandong Province] Ten Practitioners Harassed
Since July 2020, officers from various police stations in Ju County have harassed local practitioners. They made harassment calls to the practitioners and their family members to ask whether they still practiced Falun Gong and to demand that they sign a guarantee statement. Most practitioners refused to cooperate and tried to clarify the truth.
The practitioners who have been harassed are: Ms. Huang Yongcui, Wang Jin, Lao Jie, Ms. Cui Tianqin, Ms. Zhu Xiudi, Teacher Chai, Ms. Xue Yanping, Ms. Xu Fangzhen, Ms. Xu Shifang, and Ms. Wu Chuanhui. Ms. Wu Chuanhui was taken to the Chengxi Police Station for a medical exam. She was released when she failed it.
18. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Juan Harassed
Ms. Wang Juan was harassed at work on December 12, 2020. Four people came to have a private conversation with her. They were: the head of Jianguo Police Station in the Daoli District, the director of the Jiangguo Street Residential Office, the head of another office, and the director of Jianhe Community. They tried to videotape her and make her sign the guarantee statement, which Ms. Wang refused to do.
19. [Qixia City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Arrested
Practitioner Zhang (gender unknown, over 60 years old) was arrested on December 9, 2020, by two plainclothes officers from Sujiadian Police Station for clarifying the truth. The police searched Zhang and took nine truth-clarifying journals and some Falun Dafa keepsakes. Zhang was released around 3 p.m. that day.
20. [Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Junyan Arrested and Detained
Ms. Yang Junyan from Chaoyangchuan Town was arrested around 7 p.m. on December 7, 2020, by four officers from the Yanji High-speed Railway Police Station. She was taken to the Yanji City Detention Center.
21. [Beijing] Ms. Yue Xiuhua and Ms. Zhao Junfeng Faces Trial
Ms. Yue Xiuhua and Ms. Zhao Junfeng from the Pinggu District will be tried in the Pinggu District Court on December 16, 2020.
22. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Xia Arrested
Practitioner Xia (gender unknown) from Shanhetun Forestry Bureau was arrested on December 13, 2020, by officers from the Shanhetun Forestry Bureau Police Station for distributing truth-clarifying materials. Xia’s home was later ransacked. The details are yet to be investigated.
23. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Three practitioners, Ms. Dai Yanwen, Ms. Liu Yuqiu, and Xu You (gender unknown) were arrested on December 11, 2020.
24. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhu Gang Arrested and Detained
Mr. Zhu Gang was arrested around 8 a.m. on December 10, 2020, as he was leaving home. He was taken to the Jialingdao Police Station, and his home was ransacked. His computer and a small number of truth-clarifying materials were taken away. He is now in the Nankai District Detention Center.
25. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Ying Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Huang Ying from the Haizhu District was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on December 2, 2020, by officers from the Changgang Street Police Station and employees from the Changgang Street Residential Office. Her family members were contacted by staff from the residential office and told to cooperate, but they were not informed where she was.
26. [Tianjin] Ms. Yang Jinsuo and Ms. Li Baoling Harassed
Three people from the Shanggulin Street Police Station and the Fuhuiyuan Community went to the home of Ms. Yang Jinsuo’s mother-in-law to harass Ms. Yang on November 17, 2020. They stayed for more than an hour, which terrified Ms. Yang's nearly-90-year-old mother-in-law.
The same three people plus a police officer returned on December 3, 2020. They attempted several times to hold Ms. Yang’s hand to make her sign the guarantee statement, but Ms. Yang resisted.
Ms. Li Baoling received a harassment phone call on December 5, 2020, from the Yuhua Street Police Station in the Baoding District. They also harassed her family to try to make her sign the guarantee statement.
27. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Hu Ronghua Arrested
Ms. Hu Ronghua, over 70, from the Guanyinshan District was arrested at home on the afternoon of November 10, 2020. Her home was ransacked. Her whereabouts are unknown.
The Guanyinshan Community has suspended Ms. Hu’s pension since July 2020.
28. [Luanzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Jianping and Ms. Song Xiaolan Harassed
The assistant chief of the Ciyutuo Town Police Station went to the back doors of Ms. Liu Jianping’s and Ms. Song Xiaolan’s homes to videotape them on December 10, 2020.
29. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Liyan Harassed
Ms. Wang Liyan lives in Holland Town in Luhui International City. Two officers from the Balibao Police Station went to her home around 8 p.m. on December 13, 2020. When they knocked on the door and tried to photograph her, she stopped them.
30. [Chongqing] Mr. Da Shimo’s and Ms. Yu Yongxiu’s Homes Raided
More than ten people from the local community and local police station went to the homes of Mr. Da Shimo and Ms. Yu Yongxiu in Lijiatuo in the Banan District. They ransacked them and took 58 Dafa books, including two copies of Zhuan Falun and five copies of Hong Yin.
31. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Teng Guojun and Ms. Wang Shuqin Arrested and Detained
Weizigou Police Station officers in the Jiutai District broke into Mr. Teng Guojun's and Ms. Wang Shuqin's home on December 11, 2020. They ransacked it and took the couple’s cell phones and photo of Falun Gong's founder. They took the couple to the Weizigou Police Station first, then to the district police department and the Jiutai District Detention Center. The detention center refused to admit Ms. Wang because of her high blood pressure. She was allowed to go home. Mr. Teng was placed in detention.
32. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zheng Yingying Faces Jail Sentence
Ms. Zheng Yingying was tried via live video by the Liwan District Court on the afternoon of November 10, 2020. She will receive the verdict on the afternoon of December 29, 2020.
Ms. Zheng and her younger sister were arrested at a bus stop on March 31, 2020. Ms. Zheng has been detained in the Baiyun District Detention Center since then. Her sister was released on the afternoon of October 14, 2020.
33. [Beijing] Ms. Xu Fengmei Sentenced to Five Years
Ms. Xu Fengmei was arrested on June 6, 2020, after being suspected of talking to people about Falun Gong. She was released on bail after experiencing high blood pressure and other physical conditions. She was tried by the Daxing District Court on November 23, 2020, and was recently sentenced to five years. Due to her physical condition, the court has not decided whether to send her to prison or allow her to serve time at home.
34. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zhang Li Appeals Prison Sentence
Ms. Zhang was sentenced to seven and a half years and fined 100,000 yuan by the Xihu District Court on October 22, 2020. She recently filed an appeal of the verdict with the Nanchang City Intermediate Court.
35. [Chongqing] Ms. Zou Hualan Sentenced to Three Years
Ms. Zou Hualan, 69, was recently sentenced to three years by the Jiangbei District Court. She is appealing the verdict. Her latest sentencing came only one year after she served two years for practicing Falun Gong.
36. [Dandong City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sui Yongyan Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Sui Yongyan, around 70, was arrested on June 18, 2020, after being reported for mailing letters about Falun Gong. He was sentenced to two years by the Zhen'an District Court in late November 2020.
