1. [Qishan County, Shaanxi Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Three practitioners were sentenced to prison by the Qishan County Court on November 30, 2020. Mr. Shen Hongqi was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined 14,000 yuan; Ms. Xu Mingxia was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 8,000 yuan, and Ms. Jiao Binglan was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 4,000 yuan.

2. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial

Four practitioners, Ms. Zhang Yumei, Ms. Liu Jun, Chen Fengqing (gender unknown), and Ms. Cao Yulian from Chicheng County, will have a court hearing in Xuanhua County Court on the morning of December 15, 2020. They have been detained since February 13, 2020.

3. [Huangshi City, Hubei Province] Mr. Chen Dicai Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison Despite Appeal

After Mr. Chen Dicai appealed to the Intermediate Court, his lawyer received the written notice on December 4, 2020, that the judgment was upheld in the second-instance verdict. Mr. Chen was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined 30,000 in the first-instance verdict.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Guo Huili Faces Trial

Ms. Guo Huili from Baodi District will be tried by the Wuqing Court on December 18, 2020.

5. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Qiang Faces Trial

Mr. Wang Qiang from Hulin City will be tried by the Mishan Court on December 16, 2020.

6. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yuan Wenge Arrested

Ms. Yuan Wenge (over 70 years old) lives in Lijiazhuang Village, Baizhuang Township of Shenze County, Shijiazhuang City. She was arrested on the morning of December 4, 2020, when she clarified the truth in the market. She was told not to leave home for one week by officers from the Baizhuang Police Station.

The next day police officer Ma Yuekuan decided to send her to the Shijiazhuang Detention Center. The detention center refused to accept her because her blood pressure was 190 during the medical exam in Shijiazhuang City.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Persecuted

Xiaolian (gender unknown) was arrested on December 9, 2020, and the home was ransacked. The photo of Master, two printers, cutter, laminator, etc. was taken away. Li Jing, the CCP director of Dacheng Community and four police officers including the director of the Nanling Police Station conducted the arrest.

Ms. Yu Hua from Nanguan District was arrested on the afternoon of December 2, 2020, by officers from the Yihe Road Police Station. She is currently detained in the Weizigou Detention Center.

Ms. Yu Aili will be tried by Chaoyang District Court on December 11, 2020.

8. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Defu Harassed

Officers from the Beiji Police Station and community staff came to Mr. Zhang Defu’s home on December 9, 2020. Mr. Zhang was not home at that time. His wife stopped the community staff from videotaping the room and refused to sign the three statements on behalf of her husband.

9. [Tonghua County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Qiaolei Arrested

Ms. Zhang Qiaolei from Kuaidamao Town was arrested on the night of December 9, 2020. Her home was ransacked on the morning of December 10, 2020. That afternoon, she was taken to have a medical exam. She is currently detained in the Changliu Detention House.

10. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Meihong Arrested

Ms. Wang Meihong from Mudanjiang City was arrested on November 23, 2020, by officers from the Haxi Police Station in Harbin City. She was released home after being detained for 15 days.

Ms. Wang was arrested again on December 9, 2020, by officers from the Haxi Police Station. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Guo Honghao and His Wife Ms. Yang Jinfeng Harassed

Mr. Guo Honghao and his wife Ms. Yang Jinfeng were harassed at home on November 28, 2020, by Shahe Town officials, the town police officers, and village officials. They demanded the couple sign the guarantee statement. A few days later, they made harassing phone calls again to Mr. Guo Honghao to demand the couple sign the statement. They also harassed their two adult daughters and photographed their homes.

12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Gangli Arrested

Ms. Liu Gangli was arrested at home on December 8, 2020, by police officer Sun Hongliang. He opened Ms. Liu’s home with the key he took from Ms. Liu’s brother. Ms. Liu was taken to the Qimalu Police Station. Although she was found to have high blood pressure, she was still sent to the Zaohua Detention Center on the afternoon of December 9, 2020.

13. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jian Yicong Harassed

Ms. Jian Yicong lives in Yuanmianhe Village, Huangxu Town of Jingyang District. She was harassed at home in mid-November 2020 by village official Jiang Aifu and a female official. They demanded she sign the guarantee statement. She refused.

14. [Jiangyou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jiang Shifeng Harassed

Ms. Jiang Shifeng received a harassment call on December 3, 2020, from He Gang, head of Linjiang Community in Wudu Town. Ms. Jiang refused his demand that she sign the guarantee statement.

15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Haixia Harassed

Ms. Lin Haixia was harassed on December 8 and 9, 2020 by Su Xiange from the Fanrong Community in the Nanguan District. Ms. Lin refused to sign the guarantee statement to stop practicing Falun Gong.

16. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ren Qiaoling Arrested

Ms. Ren Qiaoling was arrested on the evening of December 8, 2020, during a house search due to her family member's criminal case. The police found Dafa books at her home during the search and arrested her. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Lin Maocheng Arrested Under Approval

After the Pulandian Procuratorate issued an arrest approval, Mr. Lin Maocheng was arrested on December 7, 2020, by officers from the Dagushan Border Police Station. He is currently detained in the Dalian Development District Detention Center.

18. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Yumei Arrested

Ms. Liu Yumei was harassed at home on December 10, 2020, by officers from the Chengxi Police Station and the local community staff. They ordered Ms. Liu to sign the guarantee statement. When Ms. Liu refused to cooperate, she was arrested. Her home was ransacked. They took away her entire set of Dafa books, the photo of Master, a computer, and three cell phones. She was taken to the Chengxi Police Station first and was later was detained in the detention house for 15 days.

19. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Xu Yong Harassed

Mr. Xu Yong is a hydropower worker in Mailu Campus of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. He was recently harassed repeatedly by staff from the university security office and was ordered to sign the guarantee statement.

20. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Three practitioners from the Xinjian District were recently harassed repeatedly by members of the Xinjiang District Political and Legal Committee. They were ordered to sign the guarantee statement to stop practicing Falun Gong. The practitioners are, Wei Guolan (gender unknown), Ms. Xia Yuzhen, and Xiao Min (gender unknown).

21. [Xiamen City, Fujian Province] Lin Huiqiang Arrested

Lin Huiqiang (gender unknown) was arrested on December 8, 2020, by officers from the Xingbin Police Station in the Xinglin District. Lin was taken to No.2 Detention Center of Xiamen City on December 9, 2020.

22. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Aili and Ms. Cui Yuqiu Face Trial

Ms. Cui Yuqiu was arrested on July 13, 2020, by officers from the Luyuan District Police Department and the Chuncheng Street Police Station. Ms. Yu Aili was arrested on July 15, 2020, by officers from the Balibao Police Station in the Erdao District.

Their lawyer received the notice on December 10, 2020, that Ms. Yu Aili and Ms. Cui Yuqiu would be tried by the Chaoyang District Court on December 11, 2020

23. [Lianzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Yongjian Detained

Mr. Wu Yongjian was arrested on July 20, 2020, and has been detained in the Lianzhou City Detention Center. His family is experiencing financial difficulty and has no income. His wife and two sons (one is 14 years old; the other, 2 years old) have no money to purchase food.

24. [Suixi County, Anhui Province] Mr. Zhao Zhongxin Faces Brainwashing

Mr. Zhao Zhongxin was taken to the Suixi County Political and Legal Committee Building to be brainwashed for five days.

25. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yuan Ling Harassed

Ms. Yuan Ling received a call on December 8, 2020, from the leader of her work unit. He told Ms. Yuan that the local community staff called and ordered Ms. Yuan to cooperate.

Ms. Yuan received another harassment call on the morning of December 10, 2020, from Zhang Xiaolu, director of the Sidao Road Community, who ordered Ms. Yuan to sign the guarantee statement. Ms. Yuan refused.

26. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Mr. Cai Fu and his wife, both retirees, live in the Agricultural University in Dongchengfang Town, Dongcheng District. They were harassed in mid-September 2020 and were pressured to sign the guarantee statement, which they refused.

Liang Lifen (gender unknown) is a substitute teacher in Dongchengfang Middle School. The staff from Shuangta Community where Liang’s household is registered came to harass Liang on December 4, 2020. They ordered Liang to sign the guarantee statement and wanted to videotape Liang. Liang refused to cooperate.

27. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Liu Shehong and His Wife Ms. Zhao Xiujuan Sentenced

Mr. Liu Shehong and his wife Ms. Zhao Xiujuan were arrested in Jingzhou City in Hubei on September 4, 2019, while living away from home to avoid the persecution. It was confirmed on December 3, 2020, that Mr. Liu has been sentenced to seven and a half years and Ms. Zhao to seven years.

28. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Zhang Junqin Sentenced to Three Years

Ms. Zhang Junqin was arrested on September 27, 2019. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, mp3, and her son's laptop. She was sentenced to three years in prison by the Yuanzhou District Court in early December 2020. She has appealed to the Guyuan City Intermediate Court.
