(Minghui.org) I used to suffer from migraine headaches. When a migraine hit, I was bedridden and had to stay in a darkened room. I experienced another severe episode in July 1996, which went on for several days.
My husband practices Falun Dafa and I witnessed that he recovered from his illnesses after he took up this cultivation practice. Thus, I thought I would give it a try. I no longer have migraine headaches, and have practiced Dafa since then.
When the persecution began in July of 1999, my husband and I went to Beijing to appeal for the right to practice Falun Dafa. I returned home after one month, but my husband was arrested and sentenced to two years in prison. I went back to Beijing in April of 2000, was arrested, taken back to my hometown, held in a detention center for 49 days, and fined 3,000 yuan.
Kindness of Falun Dafa Practitioners
My husband has three brothers, but his parents reared only the oldest, while the second son was raised by a distant relative, and my husband, their third son, was raised by an uncle who had no children. I treated his uncle and aunt as my in-laws and took good care of them. When my mother-in-law passed away in 1998, my father-in-law moved in with us.
His niece visited him and said, “He is so lucky, because you treat him so well. Why don't I have children like you? None of my children treat me as good as you treat your father-in-law!” She started to cry. I told her that I practice Falun Dafa, and my Master taught us how to be a good person.
She told me that since she witnessed my treating her uncle so well, she knows that Falun Dafa practitioner are kind people.
Knowing that Falun Dafa is Good Brings Blessings
We have a two-story house in the city. Our neighbor decided to build a new house, and asked to keep some of the machinery on our land. I agreed. Over the course of the house construction, they damaged my water meter and actually built on some of my land. Then, after their house was built, it blocked some of the sunlight. I thought that I am a Falun Dafa practitioner, and I needed to be considerate of others.
But the neighbor on the other side refused to put up with it, and threatened to have the house demolished. The owner of that house realized our goodness and said, “You are so kind to us even though we occupied part of your land. Could I compensate you with money?” I told him that I practice Falun Dafa and follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I said that if he remembered that Falun Dafa is good, he would be blessed as well.
Power of Falun Dafa: Lump on Head Disappeared Within a Few Minutes
One day, my granddaughter was playing with her little friend and her head got hit. She ended up with a lump the size of an egg. I told her to recite “Falun Dafa is Good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” and in less than a few minutes, the lump disappeared.
One day, my younger daughter called me. She was in a panic because her daughter had come down with a fever, was vomiting, and she and her mother-in-law were on their way to the hospital. When I got there, I took out an amulet and gave it to the little girl. Then I asked her to recite “Falun Dafa is Good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
When her other grandmother came back from registering her, the child had recovered. The doctor said that everything was fine. I told them that we'd just finished reciting “Falun Dafa is Good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” They experienced the goodness of Dafa.
