(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Fan Shufang has been detained for over six months.
2. [Beijing] Three Practitioners Officially Placed Under Arrest
Ms. Wu Zhenye was arrested on April 25, 2018. She was officially placed under arrest in early June.
Mr. Li Zhenge was arrested on March 15, 2018, and was officially placed under arrest by the Haidian Police Department.
Ms. Meng Xiuhua was arrested on May 23, 2018. She was officially placed under arrest, and was taken to the Changping Detention Center.
3. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Shuqin Detained
Ms. Wang Shuqin was arrested on June 2, 2018, and was taken to the Baishan Detention Center.
4. [Guang'an City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Luo Daxing Arrested
Mr. Luo Daxing was arrested by officer Zeng Guanghua, from the Guang'an Domestic Security Division, and two other officers on the morning of January 17, 2018. His home was ransacked and his Falun Gong books, cell phone, and other belongings were confiscated.
Mr. Luo was released that afternoon.

5. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Keqin Detained
Ms. Lu Keqin, a retired worker from the Shandong University of Science and Technology Tai'an Branch, was arrested at her home by officers from the Feicheng City Police Department on June 4, 2018.
Ms. Lu was taken to the Tai'an City Detention Center, and has not been allowed family visits.
6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiujuan and Her Family Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiujuan and her husband were arrested by officers from the domestic security division on June 3, 2018. Her home was ransacked, and her personal belongings were confiscated. The officers then arrested Ms. Zhang's parents-in-law.
Ms. Zhang's husband and parents-in-law were released two days later, while Ms. Zhang was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center.
7. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Qun Arrested
Six officers from the Changle County Domestic Security Division and Chengxi Police Station broke into Ms. Su Qun's home and arrested her on May 22, 2018. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, Zhuan Falun, a computer, paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them and cell phones.
Ms. Su was taken to the police station, and was transferred to the Weifang Detention Center the following day. She was eventually released after failing the detention center's physical examination.
8. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xiu Defang and Ms. Lu Hongxin's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Xiu Defang from Liangguojishang Village in Zhuqiao Town and Ms. Lu Hongxin from Liujia Village were arrested on the morning of June 4, 2018. Their homes were ransacked.
Ms. Xiu and Ms. Lu's whereabouts are unknown.
9. [Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Lu Shiming Detained
Ms. Lu Shiming from the Jianye District was tried in the Jianye Court on May 29, 2018. She was taken to the Nanjing City Detention Center after the trial.
10. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hao Liping Detained
Ms. Hao Liping was reported to the authorities for hanging Falun Gong banners on the evening of May 8, 2017. She was arrested and taken to the Sanxingkou Police Station, where she was interrogated and videotaped.
Ms. Hao was later taken to the Qinglong County Police Department, where she was interrogated by over 20 officers the whole night. She was then transferred to the local detention center.
Thirteen days later, Ms. Hao was taken to the Qinhuangdao City Detention Center for seven days. She was forced to write guaranteestatements to renounce her belief, and was forced to pay 30,000 yuan before being released on bail.

11. [Shanghai] Mr. Liu Jianmin Arrested
Mr. Liu Jianmin was arrested at work on June 6, 2018.
12. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wei Xia and Ms. Zhang Huani Detained
Cheng Yulin and other officers from the Beicheng Police Station in Huangchuan County broke into a practitioner's home on the afternoon of June 4, 2016. They confiscated copied of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, The Ultimate Goal of Communism, Falun Gong books and other informational materials.
Ms. Wei Xia, in her 40s and disabled, and Ms. Zhang Huani, in her 30s, were present at the time. Both women were arrested and taken to the Beicheng Domestic Security Division.
Ms. Wei and Ms. Zhang were later taken to the Hedian Detention Center, and were then transferred to the Xinyang City No. 1 Detention Center the following afternoon.

13. [Changde Ctiy, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Fenggao and Mr. Liu Zhaoyang Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Liu Fenggao and Mr. Liu Zhaoyang were sentenced to seven years and eight years in prison respectively.
14. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Li Xiangqian Taken to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Li Xiangqian was arrested at his shop by officers from the Suxian District 610 Office on the afternoon of June 4, 2018. He was taken to a brainwashing center.
15. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Zhou Xiaochao and Ms. Shi Dengling Sentenced; Mr. Zhou is in Critical Condition
Mr. Zhou Xiaochao and Ms. Shi Dengling were sentenced to five and a half years and five years in prison respectively, on May 18, 2018.
Mr. Zhou has been on hunger strike for over a week in a detention center. He is in critical condition, but the guards still force-feed him.
16. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Wang Jianhua and Ms. Zhang Jianxia Detained
Mr. Wang Jianhua and Ms. Zhang Jianxia were arrested by officers from the Laocheng Police Station on June 4, 2018. Their homes were ransacked, and two printers and informational materials were confiscated.
Both practitioners were placed under criminal detention.
17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jia Xiuchun Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Jia Xiuchun was sentenced to two years in prison by the Development Zone Court.
18. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Chen Yan Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Chen Yan was sentenced to a three-year prison term.
19. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zeng Deyun Arrested
Ms. Zeng Deyun was arrested at her home by Yin Hang and other domestic security officers on the afternoon of June 5, 2018. Her computer and Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Zeng was taken to a detention center, but was released after failing the physical exam.
