(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 16 were illegally arrested.

1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Feng Yunqing Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Feng Yunqing was arrested by the Wuhan police on May 22, 2017. She is being held in the Wuhan No. 1 Detention Center.

Ms. Feng was sentenced to a seven-and-a-half-year prison term by the Hanyang District Court in July 2018. She has appealed to the Wuhan Intermediate Court.

2. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Mingxiao and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Zhang Mingxiao and his wife were arrested in the Yanjiagang area of the Daoli District on October 11, 2018.

3. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Sujuan Detained

Ms. Liu Sujuan from the Baita District was arrested by Baita Domestic Security Division and Beimen Police Station officers on the morning of October 26, 2018. Two of her older sisters were also arrested, but released later that day.

Ms. Liu is being held in the Liaoyang Detention Center.

Mr. Xu Muqun, a teacher from the Liandong Middle School, Chenghai District, was arrested on May 3, 2018. He will be tried by the Chenghai Court on November 15.

5. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Fenglin Confined to Room in Nursing Home

Mr. Liu Fenglin, 78, a resident at the Fucheng County Center Nursing Home, tried to talk to Ni Zhigang, the new president of the nursing home, about Falun Gong. However, Ni didn't want to listen, and confined him to his room.

Mr. Liu's Dafa books were confiscated and he was not allowed to study the Fa or do the exercises.

When Mr. Liu's relatives went to visit him they were not allowed to go in.

6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Wenhuan and Ms. Cui Jinxiang Detained

Ms. Liu Wenhuan and Ms. Cui Jinxiang were arrested by officers from the Linghai City Police Department and Yuji Town Police Station when they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Zangdong Village, Yuji on October 22, 2018. Their homes were ransacked.

Ms. Liu and Ms. Cui were held in the Jinzhou City Detention Center for ten days.

7. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xingyan and Ms. Ma Suyuan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Liu Xingyan and Ms. Ma Suyuan from the Laobian District were arrested by officers from the Laobian Police Department, SWAT Team, and Laobian Police Station on the evening of May 2, 2018. Ms. Ma had a heart attack during a medical exam and was released later that day.

Both practitioners were recently tried by the Laobian Court. Ms. Liu was sentenced to a two-and-a-half-year prison term. Ms. Ma was sentenced to three years in prison, to be served outside prison due to her poor health.

8. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Arrested

Ms. Wang from the Xuanhua District was arrested by officer Meng Jinfeng and others from the Nanguan Police Station on the morning of November 8, 2018.

9. [Beijing] Mr. Wei Guo Detained

Mr. Wei Guo, 45, was arrested by Yangfangdian Police Station officers when he was posting Falun Gong materials near Yangfangdian area in the Haidian District on the evening of October 31, 2018. The officers confiscated two computers, two printers, a cell phone, and Falun Dafa books.

Mr. Wei was taken to the Sujiatuo Detention Center on November 2.

10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu and Ms. Liu Arrested

Ms. Xu and Ms. Liu were arrested on the afternoon of November 6, 2018. Their whereabouts are unknown.

11. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Wu Jianming Arrested

Mr. Wu Jianming, from Hunan Province, works at the Shunfeng Express Station near Guangta Road in Guangzhou City. He was arrested on the afternoon of November 8, 2018, and has not been heard from since.

12. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Huang Ruohai and Ms. Luo Yingfang Arrested

Mr. Huang Ruohai and Ms. Luo Yingfang from Junle Town were arrested by plainclothes officers when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on October 29, 2018. They were taken to the Fanjiang Police Station, Pengzhou City, where they were interrogated.

Both practitioners have since returned home.

13. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Xiuzhen Arrested

Ms. Chen Xiuzhen from the Yiling District was arrested by the local police and Domestic Security Division on October 29, 2018. The officers confiscated her Falun Dafa books and printed materials.
