(Minghui.org) I am a retired court judge. To improve my health and fitness I began to practice Falun Dafa in October of 1998. I understood from studying the teachings that the real purpose of cultivation was to return to one's true self. Only when following Dafa's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and being a good person, can one reach a state of being illness free. I had low blood pressure, heart failure, chronic nephritis, and rhinitis. A few months after I began to practice Dafa, all symptoms of these illnesses disappeared.
Recovery from Illnesses Within Seven days
My husband retired in 2002. He suffered from high blood pressure, hepatitis and hyperthyroidism. He took medicine to control his illnesses. When he saw the changes in my mind and health he decided he wanted to practice Falun Dafa also. Now he no longer needs to take any medicine and is illness free.
My husband felt dizzy all of a sudden and could not get out of bed during the 2013 New Year. He felt pain if he touched his head.
The next day, he looked frightening. His neck, face and entire head were swollen and red. His ears were stiff and his right eye had swollen to the size of an egg.
When my daughter and son-in-law saw him they wanted me to rush him to the hospital. I said: “Don't worry. Your dad is a practitioner. Let him decide what to do.” My husband said: “I am not going to the hospital. I am not sick. I am protected by Master Li – the founder and teacher of Falun Dafa.
I said: “If you don't go to the hospital, you need to accord yourself with the requirements for practitioners. Look within yourself and see what you didn't do correctly.”
At this time, Master's Fa teaching appeared in his mind:
“You’re a cultivator, so the path your life takes will change after today, my Law Bodies will give you a new arrangement. How do they rearrange it? How many more years would some people still have to live? They don’t know. Maybe some folks would get really sick in a year or half a year, and maybe they’d be ill like that for years. Maybe some folks would have a stroke or some other health problem, and they’d be immobile. So how could you cultivate with your remaining years? We have to clean up all of that for you and not let those things happen. But let me make it clear up front: we can only do that for true cultivators.” (Zhuan Falun)
He calmed down and looked within. He had not quit smoking, drinking alcohol and playing cards. He still had strong attachments to self-interest, lust and other things. He endured the pain and insisted on studying Falun Dafa. In the past he would not exercise if he was uncomfortable, now he did them every evening.
Three days later, his right eye was no longer swollen, but his left eye became swollen. He believed in Master and Dafa. The swelling of his head diminished and the redness gradually left. He was back to normal seven days later.
He was grateful to Master who gave him a second life, and was determined to be a true practitioner. My daughter and son-in-law witnessed this and were amazed. My son-in-law told his mother, “Falun Dafa is amazing. My father-in-law was frighteningly ill and now he is completely recovered.” His mother started to repeat “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day, and recovered from severe diabetes.
Benefits at Work for Believing in Dafa
My daughter works for a bank. She saw what happened to my husband and me and believes that Falun Dafa is good. She also supports our cultivation and helps us to do the three things. She treats her customers and coworkers well by remembering the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She quit the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Youth League and Young Pioneers in 2005. She has since then been promoted first to supervisor and then manager of a bank branch. Every year she was elected as an outstanding employee.
After her promotion as the manager of a bank branch, she was assigned to work in a poor performance branch. In the beginning she was under a lot of pressure. She asked me and her husband to help her find new customers. We talked to a few people we knew about opening accounts at this bank. They seemed interested but did not follow through.
I said to her, “You believe in Dafa. Repeat, 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' every day and you will be blessed.” She repeated those words every day on her drive to work.
Soon after, she came home and told me, “Mother, Dafa is extraordinary. Since I started to repeat 'Falun Dafa is good' every day, our branch's deposits have increased every day.” During her first year at that branch, she turned the branch from losing money to making a profit. At the end of her second year, that branch was ranked number one in three out of five performance indicators among over 20 branches throughout the city. Her monthly income increased significantly.

My daughter's experience taught me that if a person understands the truth, quits the Chinese Communist Party, and believes Falun Dafa is good, the person will be blessed by Dafa.
Surviving a Vehicle Accident
My son-in-law went with his mother and daughter to visit his relatives in June 2012. On their way home, relatives took them to the bus station on motorbikes. My son-in-law and his daughter were on the first motorbike, my son-in-law's mother was on the second motorbike.
After driving for a while, the first motorbike suddenly gained speed and headed toward a pond. The bike began to be air-born when my son-in-law's mother yelled, “Falun Dafa is good!” The motorbike tilted to the side of the road and fell onto the road.
My son-in-law had a cut on his shoulder. His daughter had a few scratches on her abdomen and hand. If they had not been protected by Dafa the accident could have been serious. The entire family was grateful to Dafa and Master.
Opening Granddaughter's Wisdom
My granddaughter is 11 years old. She lived with us when she was three. We taught her to recite some of Master Li’s poems from Hong Yin. She could recite over 40 poems by the time she was four. When she was in the first grade, she finished reading Zhuan Falun for the first time.
Every morning before school, she would say, “Greetings, Master! Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Dafa took root in her heart and opened her wisdom. Her school grades were always in the top of the class from the first to the fifth grade, and she was elected class president.
When she was five, she was the youngest student in a painting class. She participated in the Olympic star painting and calligraphy competition and won the gold award. When she was ten, she was awarded the eighth level certificate of art from the Art Committee of the Provincial Cultural Center.
Falun Dafa gave my family, relatives, and friends countless blessings. As long as you truly believe in Falun Dafa, you will benefit from it.
