(Minghui.org) Over the past few years, I've found that, when doing the three things, many practitioners, myself included, are often motivated by self-centered thinking.
For example, we often have these kinds of thoughts: “I need to collaborate with other practitioners,” “I need to get rid of such and such notions,” and “I need to send forth righteous thoughts for a practitioner who is facing a big tribulation.” It looks like these thoughts are rooted in Dafa and cultivation, but, actually, they are selfish, because they emphasize the “I” and prioritize oneself.
If we can put down our selfishness, prioritize Dafa, do what Master needs and Dafa requires, and measure everything against the standard of the Fa, we will be able to escape the trap of selfishness. We will know what to do and how to do it. Our paths of cultivation will be righteous, and the difficulties will be reduced.
It is a fundamental problem whether we prioritize the Fa or ourselves.
