(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liang Jianjun is a teacher from the Lechang City Vocational School. He has been held in the Lechang Sangongli Detention Center for over two months, and is forced to make artificial flowers using toxic materials. His attorney has visited him six times in the past two months.
Mr. Liang's wife has been to the Lechang 610 Office many times to request her husband's release, but the head of the 610 Office Huang Xuebin has been avoiding her. The one time she did run into him, he threatened to arrest her if she continued to talk about Falun Gong.
Many appeal letters requesting Mr. Liang's release have been posted around the residential area where Huang Xuebin, the 610 Office head, lives. He was furious when he found out, and threatened to arrest more practitioners.
He approached Mr. Liang's brother and showed him photos of several Falun Gong practitioners. Huang told him to identify anyone who may be involved in writing the appeal letters.
Huang even tried to frame Mr. Liang's wife and a practitioner's daughter was also pressured to provide more information about Mr. Liang's wife. Huang threatened to put her in prison if she refused to cooperate.
Arrested at Work
Plainclothes officers from the local Domestic Security Division, the 610 Office and the Political and Legal Affairs Committee went to Mr. Liang's office on the morning of May 25, 2017. They did not show any ID or a search warrant, and arrested Mr. Liang.
They took him to his home first and ransacked it. Then they took him to the Domestic Security Division. He was interrogated there for six hours before being transferred to the Sangongli Detention Center that evening. His family was notified only a few days later.
