(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 were illegally arrested.

Mr. Dong Chengfang was arrested by officers who were staked out near his home on June 12, 2017.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Gao Huilan Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Gao Huilan from Fozizhuang Township, Fangshan District, was arrested by officers from the Fozizhuang Township Police Station on May 29, 2017. She is held in the Guandao 610 Office Brainwashing Center.

3. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Huiying Arrested

Ms. Zhang Huiying from the Sun Star City, Chaoyang District, was arrested and her home ransacked on May 24, 2017. Her whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Guosheng Detained

Mr. Zhang Guosheng from Jiaohe City was arrested on June 8, 2017 for distributing Falun Gong materials. He was detained.

5. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Changlu's Home Ransacked

Officers from the Shengjing Police Station, Zhangqiu District, including Wang Guichen broke into Mr. Wang Changlu's home and ransacked it on the morning of June 5, 2017. They confiscated Falun Gong books, materials, and photos of the founder of Falun Gong.

6. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Jinhua Detained

Ms. Yang Jinhua from Tianhe District was arrested on May 12, 2017. She was held in the Tianhe District Detention Center.

7. [Karamay City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Mr. He Jianghai Arrested

Mr. He Jianghai was arrested by officers from the Karamay District Police Department on May 30, 2017.

8. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Xiuzhi, Mr. Gao Jian, and Mr. He Zhirong from Kaiping District were arrested on April 7, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Jing'an Twon, Changli County. Ms. Li returned home that day.

Officers from the Kaiping District Police Department, instigated by the Jing'an Town Police Station, arrested Ms. Li again on May 25, 2017. She was taken to the Kaiping Police Department, and extorted 50,000 yuan.

9. [Jiaozuo City, Henan Province] Mr. Tian Changqing In Critical Condition

Mr. Tian Changqing, in his 40s, from Qinyang City is held in the Zhengzhou Prison, Xinmi City. He is very thin and in danger of losing his life as a result of abuse. He has been taken to the Xinmi City People's Hospital.

Mr. Tian had been sentenced to prison three times prior to this round of persecution.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Meiyu and Ms. Bi Jinli Detained

Ms. Wang Meiyu and Ms. Bi Jinli were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong near Nanguanling area on the evening of June 7, 2017. They were arrested and their homes ransacked by officers from the Nanguanling Police Station. Both practitioners are held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

11. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Eight Practitioners Face Trial

Mr. Huang Licheng, Ms. Liu Guofeng, Mr. Yu Changwen, Ms. Zhang Shuping, Ms. Liu Shufang, Ms. Li Yanfang, Ms. Zhang Li, and Mr. Zhang Yajie were arrested on January 5, 2017 for distributing Falun Gong materials in Changjiang Township.

Mr. Huang Licheng was taken to the Lanxi County Detention Center. The other seven practitioners were returned home after paying bail.

12. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Ji Hongbo and Mr. Sun Xiaohui Arrested

Mr. Ji Hongbo and Mr. Sun Xiaohui were arrested at a train station checkpoint by officers from the Railway Police Station on the evening of June 12, 2017.

13. [Zhoukou City, Henan Province] Ms. Ou Meiju and Ms. Ren Xiufang Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Ou Meiju and Ms. Ren Xiufang were tried by the Taikang County Court on June 9, 2017. Both practitioners were each given a three-and-a-half-year prison term. Ms. Ou appealed in the courtroom during the trial.

14. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Yun and Ms. Hang Xia Arrested

Ms. Li Yun and Ms. Hang Xia were arrested on June 10, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their whereabouts are unknown.
