(Minghui.org) Some practitioners claim that they firmly practice Falun Dafa, yet they do not follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in their daily lives.
For example, many practitioners like to watch television or chat with friends in their leisure time. Some barely study the Fa. When we asked them about these shortcomings they replied with excuses, such as “We are too busy.”
Practitioners must be clear-headed! Time waits for no one and nothing in this world can bring back lost time. Time is precious. If you don’t use your time to cultivate solidly, you may regret that you have not fully met the standard for a cultivator.
If you have wasted time that has been allotted to you for cultivation, please wake up and do not delay any longer. If you still delay, you will have no time to remedy your situation. When the final moment arrives, those who don't meet the standard may face elimination. Master is waiting, sentient beings are waiting, but time waits for no one.
We all have Zhuan Falun, and it is up to us whether we study and heed the Fa or not. When a practitioner cultivates and clarifies the truth well, it is not necessarily because he has good inborn quality. It may simply be that the practitioner has been diligent and has used his or her time to cultivate well.
Those who are diligent look inward, find their problems, and try to do better. That is a cultivator on the path to godhood. Those who are not diligent try to find excuses and repeatedly make the same mistakes. That is the same as living the life of a non-practitioner.
Our respected Master directly teaches us the Fa. This is the highest honor ever given to any beings in the cosmos. Thus, our mission is to assist Master in Fa-rectification and save sentient beings. We can only save them if we ourselves are truly cultivating and adhering to the principles of the Fa at all times. Sentient beings are waiting for us to save them, and yet some practitioners waste their precious time watching television.
We are cultivating towards consummation while saving sentient beings. Let's be diligent and make the best use of our time, for the sake of Dafa, ourselves, and the sentient beings we are to save!
