(Minghui.org) I met a man in his 70s one day, and after chatting for a few minutes, I told him about Falun Gong and the persecution. At that point his friend called, and invited him for lunch with a few friends. He invited me to join them. I hesitated since we had just met, but then I realized that it was an opportunity for me to help him quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and talk to more people. So I went with him.
It turned out that all of his friends were well-educated people - one was a teacher, one was a CCP party secretary, one was a county commissioner, and another was a school principal. Some of them had seen me talking to people about Falun Gong before. I talked naturally with them, dispelling common misconceptions caused by the CCP's propaganda.
The retired school principal mentioned that if Falun Gong practitioners had not gone to the government to appeal, the CCP would not have persecuted Falun Gong. I explained to him that policemen in Tianjin had unlawfully arrested a group of practitioners, and because of that, practitioners went to Beijing to appeal for the government to release those innocent people.
I also told them that the self-immolation incident was actually a hoax orchestrated by the Chinese government to slander Falun Gong practitioners and incite fear and hatred. I told them about the brutal torture imprisoned practitioners endured, and also the forced organ harvesting atrocities against Falun Gong and other prisoners of conscience.
After I answered their questions, I explained why we believe that the CCP will eventually be destroyed by Heaven for its brutal crimes. They agreed that what CCP has done to Falun Gong practitioners was unacceptable. In the end, they all quit the CCP using their real names.
On our way home, the principal walked alongside me for a long time. After thanking me repeatedly, he said, “We were indeed meant to meet today!”
