(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 were illegally arrested.

1. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Jiling Given a Two-Year Prison Term

Ms. Yu Jiling was arrested by Daminghu Police Station on April 29, 2015 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Daminghu area, Jinan City. She has been held in the Jinan Detention Center. She was sentenced to two years in prison by the Lixia District Court, Jinan City, in mid-April 2017.

2. [Heyuan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zeng Liuming Given a Three-Year Prison Term

Mr. Zeng Liuming was recently sentenced to three years in prison by the Zijin Court.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Kun and Ms. Song Lianying Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Liu Kun, 69, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison, Ms. Song Lianying, 62, to three years and three months. Both practitioners were taken to the Liaoning Women's Prison.

4. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Tao Xueling and four other practitioners from Huancui District were arrested by officers from the Xiaoguan Border Police Station on April 13, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Xiaoguan farmers market, Wendeng City. They are held in the Wendeng Detained Center.

5. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Lu Mingyu Detained

Mr. Lu Mingyu from Sihe Town was arrested by officers from the Sihe Police Station on April 15, 2017. He is held in the Yushu Detention Center.

6. [Qingzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhou Shihua and Wife Ms. Liu Laixiang Detained

Mr. Zhou Shihua and his wife Ms. Liu Laixiang, both in their 60s, were arrested at home in Wanfang Village, Tanfang Town, by officers from the Tanfang Town Police Station at noon on April 14, 2017. Their home was ransacked. They are held in the Qingzhou Detention Center.

7. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jiang Changyu and Another Practitioner Detained

Ms. Jiang Changyu and another female practitioner were arrested by officers from the Gaoguzhuang Town Police Station, Shenzhou City, on the afternoon of April 14, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. They are held in the Shenzhou Detention Center.

8. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Dai Yunqin, Ms. Wang Yuhong, and Mr. Liu Jiwei were arrested on April 14, 2017 by twelve people, including officers from the Jinzhou City Police Department's 610 Office, the Linghai City Police Department's Domestic Security Division, and residential committee staff. The officers confiscated a computer, a cell phone, three color laser printers, and 15 spray printers. Mr. Liu was released. Ms. Dai and Ms. Wang were taken to the Jinzhou Detention Center.

9. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Tu Qingguang Detained

Mr. Tu Qingguang was arrested on the morning of April 13, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. He is held in the Qinyang Detention Center.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Jia Ruiping Detained

Ms. Jia Ruiping and her husband were arrested by officers from the Tuanhe Police Station on the afternoon of April 13, 2017. The officers ransacked their home and confiscated Falun Gong books, materials, a printer, and a computer. Ms. Gu was taken to the Daxing Detention Center. Her husband was released 24 hours later.

11. [Changyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiuhong and Ms. Xia Arrested

Ms. Wang Xiuhong and Ms. Xia were followed and arrested by plainclothes officers from the Shibu Police Station on April 12, 2017 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked. Ms. Xia was released that afternoon. Ms. Wang was taken to the Changyi Detention Center.

12. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Bai Yanbin Detained

Mr. Bai Yanbin from Jinshan Town, Harqin Banner City, was arrested on the morning of April 11, 2017 for displaying Falun Gong banners. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a cell phone, and over 300 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. He is held in the Jinshan Detention Center.

13. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Yuhua Detained

Ms. Li Yuhua was arrested at home on the evening of April 1, 2017. She is held in the Yaojia Detention Center.

14. [Shiyan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xu Yongzhi and Ms. Xu Chunxian Arrested

Ms. Xu Yongzhi and Ms. Xu Chunxian were recently arrested by officers from the Zhangwan District Domestic Security Division and the Maojian District Domestic Security Division. Their homes were ransacked.

15. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Shuzhi Arrested

Ms. Li Shuzhi was recently arrested for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Water Park.
