(Minghui.org) Some family members of Falun Dafa practitioners in China were deeply deceived by the regime's propaganda and opposed their practice out of ignorance as well as fear of the persecution. Others, however, recognized the goodness of Falun Dafa and their sincere faith in times of trouble was rewarded. Below are two such stories.
Escaping a Deadly Robbery
I am a practitioner in Hunan Province and my son, Wu, was a taxi driver. One night, a man got in the back of his car. The man took out a cable wire and tightly wrapped it around his neck. Wu offered him money, but he kept on tightening the cable. Wu remembered that I once told him that when he was in serious trouble, he should call out “Falun Dafa is good” and ask the Master of the practice for help. He did and suddenly the cable broke into two. Wu then successfully fought off the robber.
He was still shaken up when he got home that night. He told me, “I almost died today. The Falun Dafa Master saved my life.”
Unharmed After Buried Under an Iron Plow
Liu is an elderly peasant from Liaoning Province and his daughter is a practitioner. One winter day Liu went into the mountains to gather wood with his iron plow. While going downhill, he lost control of the plow. The plow fell on top of him as it dragged him down the hill.
Since his daughter had advised him to recite “Falun Dafa is good” when he was in danger, he shouted the phrase several times. Before he knew it, the plow rolled off of him. He stood up from the snow and realized that he wasn’t hurt a bit. He found that Falun Dafa amulet he was wearing was crushed, and he was convinced that Falun Dafa had saved his life.
