(Minghui.org) Luo Chunyan was riding her motorcycle when she was hit by a car. Both she and her motorcycle were thrown into the air and landed far away.
“She must be badly hurt or even dead,” murmured the pedestrians who surrounded her. “We should call the police.”
Lying on the ground, Chunyan said to the crowd, “Please don't call the police. I'm a Falun Gong practitioner. I will be all right.”
When the driver came over, Chunyan said to him, “I won't give you any trouble. You can go.”
The crowd protested, saying, “You can't let him go. He hit you, and your motorcycle was totaled. You have to demand compensation. Even if he sells his car, he might not have enough to compensate you!”
“Let him go,” she insisted. “As a Falun Gong practitioner, we should be considerate of others. Falun Gong is completely different from the slander and propaganda that you see on TV.”
“Is that true?” the driver asked in disbelief.
“We practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. We never lie. I just want to be kind to you.”
The driver still didn't believe her. “Can I record what you said?”
“Yes, you can.”
The crowd was touched and began to condemn the Chinese Communist Party for persecuting Falun Gong.
Chunyan asked the driver to help her get up and take her home. The driver didn't want to do it, fearing that her family wouldn't let him off so easily.
He called a taxi. Initially, the taxi driver didn't want to take her home either. Chunyan told him, “Everyone in my family practices Falun Gong. We won't cause trouble for anyone.” The taxi driver agreed to take her home.
Chunyan explained about Falun Gong to the driver as he took her home. He agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party using his real name.
At home, Chunyan was in intense pain, but she did the Falun Gong exercises and recovered in a month.
