(Minghui.org) A Shandong woman was released one day after her arrest for distributing materials exposing the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline based on the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.
Ms. Li Aihua, 63, is retired from a beer factory in Tai'an, Shandong Province. Following her arrest at 3:00 p.m. on April 7, 2017, she carefully explained to the police how the persecution was illegal.
She was first taken to the Longquan Police Station and gave the police officers there information about the persecution.
About 40 minutes later, the officers took her to the Beijipo Police Station. They handed her and the items they’d confiscated from her to them.
The Beijipo Police Station officers grabbed Ms. Li by the hair and took her picture. They demanded to know her personal information and where she’d gotten her Falun Gong materials.
Instead of answering their questions, she told them that no law in China criminalizes Falun Gong and urged them to stop taking part in the persecution. She gave examples of those who took part in the persecution, thus incurring karmic retribution. She talked until 10 p.m.
The police officers were shocked to hear what she had to say.
The next morning, the head of the police station, Ma Hui, returned her personal belongings and said they would let her go home. They also took her to Longquan Police Station to get her bicycle.
A Beijipo Police Station officer said to his colleague at the Longquan Station, “I couldn’t sleep last night after listening to what that woman you brought to our station had to say.”
“If I hadn't handed her over to you, I wouldn't have been able to sleep either,” replied the Longquan Station officer.
