(Minghui.org) Life was not easy for a while. My husband lost his job because he practiced Falun Dafa. My work unit went bankrupt, and I received only minimal unemployment benefits. Our child was in high school, so the financial hardship for my family was rather stressful.
An acquaintance helped me get a janitor's position in 2003. The company director saw me looking clean and having a gentle manner, so she wondered if I was suited for such a job. I promised to do a good job, however, so I was hired and worked there for six years.
The persecution of Falun Dafa was harsh at that time. I had just been released from a labor camp, so I did not tell anyone that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. But I always followed the principles of Dafa.
I kept the facility spotless, including the bathrooms. The office leaders and my fellow colleagues praised me. I knew that my colleagues needed to be told about Falun Dafa, and that my work was good because Dafa asks us to be good people.
All Beings Came for the Fa
My first thought was to talk to the director, since she was familiar with me. But since she was a little odd and arrogant, she was very difficult to approach.

I realized that I should not just look at her surface. Before talking to her, I worried a lot, and all kinds of human notions surfaced. So I recited the Fa intensively.
When this director was not busy, I asked for a few minutes of her time. I then asked her if she had ever been given informational materials about Dafa.
“The media’s coverage of Dafa is fabricated,” I said. “This was especially so regarding the ‘Tiananmen self-immolation’. Jiang Zemin just wanted to incite the Chinese people against Dafa. This cultivation practice teaches people to be good.”
She asked me if I was a Falun Dafa practitioner. After I told her that I practiced Dafa she said, “No wonder you are not like the others.”
I asked her if she wanted to dismiss me, knowing that I was a practitioner.
“As long as this company exists,” she said, “you have a job. I will never fire you. I admire you, so please be sure to stay. From you, I know that Dafa must be wronged and will be vindicated.”
When I told her, “Because you support Dafa and are kind to a practitioner, you will be blessed,” she laughed.
Soon after our conversation, she was promoted to the well-paid position of office director at the company's headquarters.
Opportunities to Spread the Fa
This experience opened up more opportunities to clarify the facts about Dafa at my company.
During my six years at that company, I was assigned to the administrative affairs division, a purchasing job, and others. When purchasing goods, I never asked for an invoice for more than the actual amount I spent. My honesty often confused other businessmen. I then used these opportunities to explain the facts of Falun Dafa to them.
I seized every opportunity to tell my colleagues the facts. Since I followed the principles Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, worked hard, and cared for my colleagues, they were willing to listen when I spoke about these important things.
Many employees came and went over the years. There were doctoral students, graduate students, managers, directors, visitors, businessmen, repairmen, and so on—yet, I seized every opportunity to tell them the facts. Many people quit the CCP.
Some colleagues changed from being against Dafa to understanding the facts and supporting it. Some even reminded me to send forth righteous thoughts when it was time, and some repeated “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” every day.
There is a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere in the company to this day. What’s more, Udumbara flowers bloomed on the company's windows and railings in 2012.

Indeed, everything Master teaches us is true.
