(Minghui.org) The local authorities in Weifang City arrested a man for refusing to give up his faith on April 13 last year. Mr. Liu Liangmin is a practitioner of Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline currently persecuted in China. He was locked in Changle Detention Center and tortured until he was on the brink of death. He was rushed to a hospital, just to be sentenced to three years in prison a few days later.
Mr. Liu was transferred to Shandong Prison on January 19, 2017. To force him to renounce his faith, the tortures continued. He was soon hurried to Shandong Police Hospital and the doctor notified his family of his critical condition. A few minutes after the family saw him at the hospital, the visit was terminated and the family was forced to leave.
