(Minghui.org) Several Falun Dafa practitioners in Baicheng City, Jilin Province were arrested and detained in separate incidents ahead of the 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party.
Wang Lei, head of the domestic security division, along with officers from the Jinghua Police Station and Daan Domestic Security Division, broke into Ms. Geng Jiqiu's home, ransacked the place, and confiscated her car.
Ms. Wang Xuemei, Chen Ke, and Ms. Ma Fengyi were in Ms. Geng's home at the time. The four practitioners were arrested.
The police also searched Ms. Geng mother's warehouse.
Ms. Wang was taken to the Zhenlai County Detention Center. The other practitioners have since been released.
The head of Daan Domestic Security, along with the head of the Baicheng Economic Development District Domestic Security, broke into Ms. Zhang Fengling's home on the evening of October 9, 2017. They ransacked the place and confiscated a printer, two computers, several cell phones, a copier, 6000 yuan in cash, and some Dafa books.
Ms. Cheng Yumei and Ms. Wang Hongyan were there at the time. All three practitioners were arrested.
Only one of the police officers showed their ID when asked. They did not have a search warrant.
Officers from the Zhaonan City Domestic Security arrested Mr. Hu Yougang and his wife Ms. Tiao Chao on October 9, 2017.
Mr. Hu is being held in the Baicheng Detention Center. His wife is in the Zhenlai Detention Center.
