(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in southern Germany held a series of activities to introduce Falun Gong (also called Falun Dafa) to the public and raise awareness of the persecution of the spiritual and meditation practice in China.
The fall season and pleasant weather make for a prime time for locals to enjoy outdoor activities. The practitioners’ events in Ulm, Augsburg, Munich, and Stuttgart on October 14 and 21 attracted many passersby and tourists.
Ulm: “I want to learn Falun Gong”

Practitioners held an event on a pedestrian-only street in downtown Ulm on October 21. Their banners and demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises attracted many passersby.
An elderly man was surprised to learn that the killing of Falun Gong practitioners for their organs in China is a state-sanctioned activity. He signed a petition to the United Nations Human Rights Commission to investigate and stop this atrocity.
He also wanted to learn the Falun Gong exercises and asked about exercise instruction classes in Ulm.
A young psychology student at the University of Ulm said he had meditated before and wanted to learn the Falun Gong exercises. He pulled out a notebook and wrote down the address and time of local Falun Gong instruction classes.
Augsburg: Bringing a Friend to Sign the Petition
The practitioners’ activity at King's Plaza (königsplatz) Augsburg on October 21 also attracted many people to learn about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Many people signed the petition calling for an immediate stop to the persecution.

A woman read the display boards and signed a petition calling on the Chinese communist regime to stop the persecution of Falun Gong. After a while, she returned with a friend and explained to the friend what Falun Gong is and about the persecution. Her friend also signed the petition.
A couple signed the petition after reading the display boards. The wife said that she wanted to learn Falun Gong, too.
Stuttgart: People Wait in Line to Sign the Petition

Practitioners held an event in Stuttgart on October 14, where they read a statement to passersby throughout the day. The statement introduced what Falun Gong is, why the practice is persecuted in China, and the communist regime’s harvesting of organs from jailed practitioners and other vulnerable populations.
Many people could hear the speech from afar and came to the booth to learn more about the crime. Sometimes, they had to wait in line to sign the petition. A majority had already learned some things about the persecution before they stopped by.
Some passersby said they felt a strong energy field from the exercise demonstration.
A young father with two small children told a practitioner about a friend who had a severe illness. The friend happened to see the Falun Gong website online. Unable to find a local instruction site, he learned the exercises by following the online video. Afterwards, his illness stopped worsening.
The young father was impressed by the healing power of Falun Gong that his friend experienced. When he saw the Falun Gong activity, he was very interested and wanted to learn the exercises.
Munich: Residents and Tourists Sign Petition Supporting Falun Gong
The activity in Munich was held on Tal street on October 21. Besides local residents, many tourists also signed the petition.
A Chinese girl born in Vienna was touring Munich with several friends. They listened to an introduction of Falun Gong, the persecution, and why the Chinese regime persecutes practitioners. They had a long conversation with a practitioner.
She said the conversation cleared some doubts in her mind. She and her friends all signed the petition.
The activities also attracted professionals who were attending a conference in the city. A tax accountant from Munster signed the petition and took many printed materials to read on the return trip.
