(Minghui org) I am in my 50s and live in a rural area of Henan Province. In 1997, when my husband was suffering from Hepatitis B, a Falun Dafa practitioner in our village advised him to practice Falun Dafa. My husband was so embarrassed about the prospect of doing the exercises outdoors that he did not take it up.
However, I thought I would try it first and then ask my husband to join me if I found the practice to be good.
I went to this practitioner’s home and started to study the Fa and do the exercises with her. I soon learned that it is a cultivation practice and that it is good for improving one's physical and mental wellbeing.
Since then I have become more tolerant and at peace. I care less for personal interests, put others first, and look within when encountering conflicts.
So many miraculous things have taken place in my life and in the lives of those who have predestined relationships with me since I started practicing Falun Dafa.
I would like to share with you the miracle that happened to my adopted daughter's biological father.
Father Wants to Meet His Adopted Daughter
I adopted a baby girl 20 years ago and always treated her like my own child. During the past 20 years, no one told her that she was adopted, and neither of her biological parents had ever come to see her.
In September 2016, an acquaintance told me that my adopted daughter’s biological father was terminally ill with a liver disease and near death. This man wanted to see his daughter before he died. The acquaintance said, “He asked me to pass on a word, wondering if you could let him see his daughter.”
Previously, I would have turned down this request, but as a Dafa practitioner, I knew I should be selfless and consider others first.
I understood the feelings of this dying man who wanted to see his own child, so I must not stand in his way. At the same time, I also realized that this was arranged by Master, who wanted me to save him.
I sat my daughter down and told her that she was adopted and that her biological father wanted to see her before he died. She was shocked and in disbelief and refused to see him, saying, “Even if he is my own father, I won’t go to see him. For 20 years, he has never come to see me once. Only when he is dying does he remember me! What has he been doing all these years?”
I coaxed her and convinced her, and she finally agreed to see her father.
I went to the hospital with my daughter, her husband, and their son to visit and bring gifts to this very ill man. His family was with him, and he was very happy to see his daughter. After they finished talking, I told them all about Falun Dafa and our predestined relationship and advised them to quit the CCP.
My daughter’s father and his son both agreed to quit.
I then asked his family to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good,” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I told the father, “As long as you sincerely recite ‘Falun Dafa is good’ and respect Dafa, miracles can happen and your whole family will be safe.”
A few days later, my daughter and I went to the hospital again. Her father looked quite different from the last time we saw him. He was feeling much better and in less pain.
He was discharged from the hospital in about 20 days. The doctors believed it was a miracle. It wasn't long before this man was able to gain weight and he fully recovered.
The man thanked me for his good fortune, saying that it was because of me that his family had been reunited and he was cured. I told him and his family, “You don’t need to thank me. It is Master Li Hongzhi who has removed your illness and given you a healthy body. Please thank him for it!”
