(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners from Germany and France held events in Munich and Paris last weekend to raise public awareness of the persecution in China, especially the state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting.
Munich
On Marienplatz, the center of Munich, practitioners demonstrated the exercises and held up banners conveying the facts of the persecution.

Many people stopped by. They talked to practitioners and signed the petition to condemn this human rights violation.

Rosa Silvero cried when told about the forced organ harvesting. She left comments on the petition and condemned the Communist Party.
Tetra Lank, a local doctor, hopes her signature will help stop the persecution. She believes that the persecution of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is a disaster. “The Communist Party is against spirituality. It does not allow people to have other thoughts,” she said.
Alexander Jänsch, also a doctor, was horrified to learn of the forced organ harvesting. “It's unbelievable,” he said. “And the Communist Party is responsible. I'd heard about organ trading in China but never knew that they harvested organs from living, innocent people.”
Paris
In Paris, practitioners held a similar event in front of the Eiffel Tower on Sunday.

Thomas Bruggeman and Mathieu Devillers from Belgium signed the petition. Thomas said everyone should be aware of the crime of forced organ harvesting and do something to stop it. He praised the practitioners for making the information public.
Mathieu said his conscience told him that everyone is involved with this crime. He hopes that his signature, plus everyone else's, will help to stop the persecution.
“This is a great fight. Keep up the good job,” he said. “What you are doing is very important. People need to know the truth.”
Marie Anick, a retired nurse, said, “I signed the petition for justice and freedom. This is everyone's right. I heard about Falun Gong a few years ago. I could not believe that people are being persecuted for their belief. I saw a Falun Gong event several days ago, but the literature was in Chinese. Today, I will take a good look at it in French.”
