(Minghui.org) I work as a doctor in a hospital. Someone reported me to the authorities for practicing Falun Dafa, and I was persecuted at work. My managers did not know much about the persecution and were deceived by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) slander. When the police came to harass me, they pressured me to give up my belief. I was later denied promotions because of my belief.
I filed a criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin for initiating the persecution of Falun Dafa. I used my place of employment for the return address. I knew that suing Jiang was a way to save people and wanted to use this opportunity to restore Dafa's reputation where I worked.
I've recently read many articles written by practitioners about how they were harassed after suing Jiang. I realized that dealing with the problem was an opportunity for saving people. One day, the hospital president ordered me to report to his office. I realized that the meeting would be such an opportunity, although my first reaction was fear and panic.
I tried to remain calm and asked myself, “Should I be scared?” Then, a calm, righteous thought arose, “No, I should not.” Master has given us this time to help save people. Regardless of one's livelihood, that is just a role in this world. We cannot leave anyone out, even if he or she is a police officer. If a police officer knocks on my door, the person came to be saved. Maybe the human side seems rude, but the divine side is truly asking to be saved.
So what was I afraid of? Nothing. The old forces were trying to confuse me. If I did not have strong righteous thoughts, I could be persecuted. Whoever I spoke to would not be saved and would commit more crimes against Dafa. When I saw this clearly, I was no longer frightened. I was very calm on my way to the president's office.
Indeed, I saw two police officers sitting there. They asked how I had been in recent years. I listened politely and tried to find some common ground. I knew they had been fooled by the CCP and probably had many obstacles in their minds. I tried not to trigger their negative emotions and looked for opportunities to help them think.
They followed my lead and raised questions, “You are a doctor. Why don't you believe in medicine?”
I told them that Dafa is a cultivation practice and not for healing illnesses. If a cultivator's xinxing reaches a high standard, Dafa can correct the imbalances in the body.
They said, “Okay, we won't require you to do anything. We are not opposed to personal beliefs. All you have to do is to write and sign three promises: 'I will not communicate with other practitioners, not distribute flyers, and not spread the practice.'”
I knew that they were controlled by evil factors. My true wish was just for them to be saved.
I firmly replied, “How I am treated really does not matter. But I cannot let you be persecuted. Everything I write will become evidence in the future that you have participated in the persecution. I cannot harm you because, as a Dafa practitioner, I must be a good person.”
They looked at each other and one of them said, “Okay, you do not have to write it. You are very busy, so you are free to go.”
I used my true will to negate the persecution. It is possible that these officers still have not fully understood the persecution, but they could definitely feel a Dafa practitioner’s hope to help them. Our meeting will lead to more opportunities for them to know Dafa in the future.
These are just my personal understandings. If anything is inappropriate, please kindly point it out.
