1. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wei Yingzhen and Ms. Li Yanfen Arrested

Ms. Wei Yingzhen, 66, and Ms. Li Yanfen, 72, were arrested by officers from the Fuyuan Road Police Station on December 18, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They were released that afternoon.

2. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Yang Changkuan Sentenced

Mr. Yang Changkuan was sentenced to a three-year prison term.

3. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Guilan Sentenced

Ms. Shi Guilan was arrested on July 21, 2016. She was tried by the Anqiu City Court on December 13, 2016. Seven days later, the second hearing was held and she was sentenced to a one-year prison term.

She is held at the Weifang Detention Center.

4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zheng Jingxian Detained

Mr. Zheng Jingxian was tried by the Haizhu District Court at the end of December 2016.

Mr. Zheng was arrested by officers from the Ruibao Police Station on February 3, 2015. He was taken to the Nanzhou Detention Center. He was later taken to the Tangang Brainwashing Center on March 13, 2015. Three months later, he was taken back to the Nanzhou Detention Center on June 12, 2015 for further detention.

5. [Anyang County, Henan Province] Mr. Li Jicheng Sentenced

Mr. Li Jicheng was tried by the Anyang County Court on November 15, 2016. He was sentenced to a three-year prison term on December 21.

6. [Lanshan County, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhou Fangjun and Ms. Zhu Lingyun Arrested

Mr. Zhou Fangjun and his wife Ms. Zhu Lingyun were arrested by officers from 610 Office on December 23, 2016.

7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Jin Guihuan and Ms. Xiao Chunling Imprisoned

Ms. Jin Guihuan, 55, and Ms. Xiao Chunling, 47, were arrested on November 9, 2015. Ms. Jin was later sentenced to a three-year-and-three-month prison term and Ms. Xiao to a three-year-and-six-month one. They were taken to Liaoning Women's Prison on September 27, 2016.

8. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] 12 Practitioners Arrested

Chaoyang County Procuratorate approved the arrest of 12 practitioners, including Mr. Guo Zhenxue, Ms. Hu Qinglian, Ms. Zhang Xiuxia, Ms. Song Shouyun, Ms. Ma Xihua, Ms. Zhang Shuhuan, Ms. Li Guixia, Mr. Liu Wenhui, and Ms. Xie Baofeng. The practitioners are detained.
