1. [Zunyi City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Zeng Chengqin Sentenced to Four-Year Prison Term

Ms. Zeng Chengqin was sentenced to a four-year prison term and fined 4,000 yuan.

2. [Dezhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Qiuju Taken to Jinan Prison

Ms. Wang Qiuju was recently taken to the Jinan Prison. She was sentenced to three years in prison for distributing Falun Gong informational materials.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Juan and Ms. Song Xiuling Detained

Ms. Wang Juan and Ms. Song Xiuling from Nong'an County were arrested by officers from the Wanjinta Police Station on the morning of December 20, 2016, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Wugongli Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

4. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Cao Chuanping, Ms. Wang Yulan, and Ms. Guo Qiuxiang, from Yangbali Village, Linqing City, were arrested on the evening of December 20, 2016 by officers from the Xinhua Police Station.

5. [Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Sun Renzhi Detained

Mr. Sun Renzhi, from Xinzaoren Town, Fucheng District, was arrested on the afternoon of December 13, 2016, by Zhao Ming, director of the Huangtu Police Station, and other officers, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Huangtu Town Farmers Market. He is being held in the Anzhou Detention Center for 15 days of detention.

6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Chunling and Ms. Wen Yuyan Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Zheng Chunling, Ms. Wen Yuyan, and Ms. Lan Yueming were arrested by officers from the Nanjing Road Police Station on March 18, 2016, for distributing Falun Gong materials. Ms. Lan escaped from the police station. Ms. Zheng and Ms. Wen were taken to the Jilin City Detention Center, and were tried secretly in December. Ms. Zheng was sentenced to four years in prison, and Ms. Wen to three years. Ms. Wen returned home on December 14, 2016.

7. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Xiaoli Detained

Ms. Wang Xiaoli was arrested by officers from the Lingshan Police Station on the evening of December 20, 2016. She is being held in the Anshan No. 1 Detention Center. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated personal belongings.

8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhou Xikun Arrested

A group of six people, including police officers and staff from the 610 Office led by Security Section staff from the Information Division of Wuhan University, deceived Mr. Zhou Xikun and his wife into opening their door on the evening of December 20, 2016. They ransacked the couple's home and confiscated Falun Gong books, a printer, a computer, and other personal belongings. Mr. Zhou was arrested. His whereabouts are unknown.
